Danielle and her husband, at Distinct Furniture &land Upholstery, have just restored two chairs that have been in the family for over 100 years. Danielle's design sense and her husband's craftsmanship have given the chairs a new lease on life. They look terrific. We are truly pleased.

Our basement wall had developed a leak. My daughter recommended Aquamaster because they had done excellent work in fixing a similar problem at her house. I called Feodor and he came over the same day to give me an estimate. It seemed very reasonable. He arranged for the hydro, gas, phone and cable companies to locate there services. His two-man crew arrived on time and got promptly to work on the appointed day. They laid down plastic sheeting, dug a trench along the front of the house that was six feet deep. Fixed holes in the wall, parged it, put on a sealant, then a plastic shield, installed drainage tubes and refilled the trench. When that was done they cleaned up all of the waste materials and left our front yard spic and span. The work was spread over three days. We were very happy with the result.

We needed a new railing for our front porch. I saw the great reviews for RJ Aluminum Railings on HomeStars and gave them a call. They were closed for the day but I left an message and they called back promptly the next day. They emailed photos of previous jobs to us and we liked what we saw. We arranged for an estimate and Joe came within two days. He gave a very reasonable estimate. Within three weeks the railing was installed - and it looks great. We gave Joe's number to a neighbour and they also ordered from him - I think their job also looks great. I would used RJ again and will also recommend the company to others.

We needed to remove coax cables from the exterior of our townhouse and install them inside. This involved running cable to six rooms on three floors. In addition to the coax, we decided to install Ethernet cable to the same rooms. We found David on Homestars. The work involved fishing wire through walls in some cases and in others running wire through channels that David mounted on the walls. This was a big job and took over 17 hours. We are very satisfied with the work. We now have several devices on Ethernet that used to run on WiFi. There is a very noticeable improvement for download times on those devices. Our TV picture is improved greatly. David is very professional in his approach. He listened to our ideas, suggested alternatives and between us we came up with the final plan which he executed to high professional standards. As a separated contract, we had David wall mount two TVs for us. Again the work was done to high professional standards. We can recommend David.

Some of the bottom bricks in our brick wall had disintegrated. We feared that we would need to replace the whole wall. Tony came, took a look and said it could be saved. He gave a very fair estimate. Crystal scheduled the work for July but a slot came available and so the work was advanced by a full month. The crew arrived exactly when Crystal said they would. They worked hard and professionally all day and left everything neat and tidy when they left . They even matched the new bricks and mortar so closely in colour to the old that it is hard to tell old from new. The job looks great and Tony and the team saved me thousands of dollars by fixing the old fence rather that selling me on a new one. Bravo!!!
