Gas Guys.ca is the only company you should contact, for any professional gas fitter project. George is the best - he is professional, knowledgeable, meticulous, informative, and prompt. After sending photos regarding our situation, he advised us of his expected arrival date which was only a two day wait. The dryer was expertly reattached (had been taken apart when new flooring was installed), using new, proper fittings for the unit, both inside and outside of the house. He explained the need for compatible parts and why they were necessary. We were very, very impressed!

This is your "go to" company for mould remediation! They are extremely responsive, arriving one day after being contacted, to conduct an assessment and recommend a plan of action. Two days after that, the work was completed by three staff, in under three hours. We had no "after clean" of the area to do, as it was already completed, so no vacuuming or dusting was required. We were educated, in detail, regarding the cause of our issue, and given recommendations going forward, and, a certificate was issued to us outlining their work and warranty. Staff are knowledgeable, pleasant, professional and efficient, and are obviously invested in their work. Contact Sick Building Solutions with confidence - they are the best!

We have used this company for three separate renovations, in a seven year time span (cannot remember the exact cost of the windows replacement done in 2010). The company representative, Vernon, is beyond professional. He is calm, thorough, friendly, and answers any and all questions before, during and after the reno. He likes his job and it shows; the customer is important. Choices are discussed thoroughly prior, and after the job is completed, he returns to inspect and assess. The windows renovation involved three people, and our two storey home was completed in less than a day (approximately 14 windows plus a large living room replacement window). The area was cleaned up afterward, and work was done with no problems during or after. The front entrance renovation was a wooden entrance and storm door removal, and an aluminum entrance and new storm door installation. The person responsible for that job, Alonzo, was a master craftsman in every sense. He spent 90 minutes removing the 37 year old wooden entrance (secured in 1979 with an endless stream of nails!) and then installed the new door and aluminum entrance way. I requested a black door with a sandstone coloured frame, and Alonzo immediately knew what the desired look should be - he used sandstone screws on the frame to have the black door appear as one streamlined square. This was not a usual request, yet his artistic sense allowed him to create what I wanted. The caulking application was precise and expertly done, as this artisan is experienced and has very high standards. We are still impressed every time we walk in the front entrance! The last reno (2017) was a sliding glass door replacement on two floors, and again, the work was done in less than a day, and the area cleaned up well. The doors are gorgeous, and as usual, Vernon visited the day after to inspect the work done. We of course recommend this company very very highly! They work in the east GTA area - east of Victoria Park, and also do Markham, Richmond Hill and Durham areas. Photos below - please pardon the sideways setup! This is a company that excels in service, knowledge, expertise and initiative. Steve arrived prior to his scheduled arrival time, and commenced work on the faucet immediately, as the toilets were to be delivered shortly after. He was able to suggest alternatives to the installation as the counter top was older and presented a few challenges. One toilet required levelling due to an uneven floor surface, plus it needed some extensive cleaning underneath. The three installations were done professionally and they look fantastic. I highly recommend B and B Plumbing - you will not be disappointed!

Northland Paving completed an asphalt driveway excavation and laying, and, an interlock walkway and step, and driveway border installation, in May and early June of 2015. From start to finish, the staff were informative, punctual and professional. Giorgio visited first to assess the area, provide suggestions regarding products and colour, and estimate the costs involved. The excavation crew were thorough and quick - the team worked as a unit, and were pleasant and efficient. They left the area swept and neat. The interlock team was excellent. It was obvious that Dave and Joey were highly invested in their work; Dave is a true artisan and takes pride in his craft, as he designs and builds the walkway, its slope and any steps up to the door, if required. Our walkway and driveway borders look fantastic, and add so much to the aesthetic appeal of our home. The colour suggested by Giorgio looks wonderful. The paving crew was a well oiled machine! They ensured the asphalt went down in a timely manner and there was nothing for us to clean up after. The rain now rolls down the driveway as it should. The asphalt lines up perfectly with the interlock along its sides and the garage floor. From start to finish, Sheila, the scheduling manager, ensured that we were informed of tentative work dates (three in all) as weather is a factor in definite planned dates. We also had other contractor work going on, which impacted the Northland work schedule. These other dates were worked around with ease. Any questions were answered immediately via email, and Sheila was a constant in the seven week period from initial contact to final asphalt layer installation. She is a highly organized coordinator and communicator who takes initiative and keeps everyone informed ongoing. Northland Paving is an excellent choice!

Turnbull Roofing replaced our 19 year old roof in May, and the task from start to finish was performed in a timely and professional manner. Chris visited the home first, and assessed the roof in its entirety - photos were taken, and the overall condition and work required was documented. He then reviewed the projected work, including vents, flashing, plywood board requirements (if any), metal valleys and also discussed how the yard is to be covered in tarps and how cleanup will be performed during and after. Chris was thorough, knowledgeable and professional, and clearly explained the process and patiently answered any questions. Weather is a constant factor which may change scheduled dates; Turnbull Roofing confirms the date as soon as the weather allows, and keeps the client informed ongoing. They do their best to provide a date that fits in with other work scheduled by the client, such as driveway repaving or window installation. The actual crew were diligent, courteous and professional, and Turnbull aims to complete a job in one day (residential home). In our case they returned the next morning for one hour to complete a final section. Tarps covered the perimeter of the yard and flower pots and other deck furniture were moved away from the roofing area. Upon completion all of the moved items were put back and the area surveyed for nails (magnetic sweep). We asked that a metal stack that was rusted, be painted, while the crew was up top, as it would not complement a new roof. To our surprise, they had already planned to do just that, and had brought suitable paint in an appropriate colour! Trudy the office manager called the next day to arrange a followup with Chris - he collected payment, discussed the job in general and also reviewed the Owens Corning Roofing and Asphalt LLC Limited Warranty. Any client concerns were also addressed. Turnbull aims to maintain a relationship with the client post roofing day, and, are WSIB certified. The company strives to keep its employees long term, and it shows; the company instills loyalty, work pride and commitment. We are most happy with our roof and its aesthetic appeal, and recommend Turnbull to anyone looking for a new roof!
