We needed to replace our HRV and raise the HRV ductwork before the new ceiling in our basement could be installed. Unfortunately we procrastinated on replacing it and found we only had a week to try to find someone good who was willing to help us before our basement ceiling went in. Simcoe Muskoka Home Comfort in Orillia had great reviews, and although very busy they kindly fit our job in between others. Peete and Ryan installed a LifeBreath HRV and raised the ductwork. They were very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Peete clearly described how the unit worked with our furnace and furnace humidifier and how to maintain the HRV. It was a relief to finally get straight answers from someone knowledgeable. Overall it was a pleasure dealing with this company. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and I’ll only be using them in future for home heating and cooling work.

Our 13 year old 50 gal gas water heater sprang a leak at the bottom this week. We researched purchasing vs continuing to rent and, determining that a rental water heater is better for us, called Enercare. Jacob and Jeremy from Enercare, Barrie came the next day. They called ½ hour before they arrived with a new 50 gal gas water heater and new vent pipe. They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They replaced the unit and pipes within two hours, cleaned up after themselves, then taught us the features of the water heater. It was a pleasure dealing with Jacob and Jeremy and I'd recommend them to anyone needing a water heater. Kudos to Enercare for excellent service and staff.

We were so pleased with Glass Doctor's work on four of our house windows last year that we contacted them again this year after the seals in another five old windows broke over winter. Once again we were impressed with their prompt response, courtesy, professional attitude and detailed estimate. We already knew that their windows, which are built in their factory and have an intelligent design to reduce future seal breaks, performed well at our house over winter. Installation of our new windows occurred within weeks and installers Chad and Aaron were courteous, professional, very competent and efficient. They even called to alert us they were on their way to our house. They also cleaned up when done and were careful not to damage the foundation gardens. We were very satisfied with Glass Doctor and wish more companies had this attention to detail and were this dedicated to excellent customer service. Kudos to Glass Doctor staff, especially Jason, Chad and Aaron, for their excellent service, and to Glass Doctor for the quality of the windows and good value. We give them 12 out of 10!

After the seals broke on four of our house windows over winter, we contacted several companies for estimates. Glass Doctor impressed us the most with their prompt response, courtesy, professional attitude and detailed estimate. Their high level of customer service from first phone contact onwards inspired our confidence. In addition, their product is built in-house and has an intelligent design that will reduce future seal breaks. Installation occurred within weeks and installers Chad and Al were courteous, professional, very competent and efficient. They also cleaned up when done and were careful not to damage the foundation gardens. Chad even quickly repaired our existing screen door lock. We were very satisfied with Glass Doctor and wish more companies were this dedicated to excellent customer service. Kudos to Glass Doctor staff, including Chad, Jenn and Al, for their excellent service, and to Glass Doctor for the quality of the windows and good value.
