Found 2 wasp nests on a tree in our backyard on a Sunday afternoon. Called Pesticon and a bunch of other companies that claim to offer 24 hour service. Mr. Ahmed called us shortly after and gave us an approximate quote for the next day. Prompt communication in the morning telling us they would be there. Iftikar called to say that he'd be over earlier than the appointment. Extremely detailed in assessment, detailed explanation of what was going to be done, efficiently executed and gave us followup info. Very professional- Thanks guys.

Been using New Century Maids for 5+ years, through 3 homes and at 2 cleanings/months New Century has been extremely reliable. From perfect scheduling and confirmation of upcoming appointments to crew that show up punctually. The crew has always done an excellent job and we haven't ever had to raise an issue on the quality of their service.

Recently completed the purchase of a Samsung 4-door counter-depth refrigerator and was treated to some stunning service and professionalism from the guys at Faulkner. Not only do these guys have brands that they stand behind as being reliable; and prices that are extremely competitive; they have professionals like Faouzi taking the time to explain our options and features and yet gave us space to make our own decisions. Interestingly, on our drive in to Faulkner's we found one of the big box stores offering a promo pricing that seemed too good to be true. Faulkner's obviously beat the price hands down; but while invoicing on the agreed price it was found that the other store actually had a higher price (it was a mistake on our part that we didn't go through the fine print in detail)... Not only did Faouzi and Bob not want to dwell on it, they simply did not want to go back on re-negotiating the agreed price... an act of good faith and professionalism that we value very highly. Delivery was exactly as promised, on time and efficient. It's hard for us to ever consider a store other than Faulkner's for our needs.

Called Delroy to fix my refrigerator and I managed to pay for getting it fixed without having it fixed! My freezer was intermittently leaving the contents thawing. * He came in on time - which accounts for the only good point I was able to give * Found that my freezer fan wasn't working .. proceeded to open the cover and the fan started up. Claimed that he had removed an obstruction (I have no way of corroborating that claim; but obviously given that I still had the problem I am doubtful) * I had water leaking from my ice dispenser especially when left on (it is supposed to auto-shutoff) and his solution was to either not make ice or to keep turning it on and off and that the alternative was more work - he never asked if I was willing to pay to get it fixed, just seemed disinterested. I may not know appliance repair, but that's like finding out that your garden sprinkler doesn't turn and being told that you might as well hold it and turn around or not use the sprinkler! * Left the place messy with everything left out and not quite moving the fridge back in place * Next morning I found that I had the same problem with the freezer .. so it wasn't fixed, obviously * Tried calling him NUMEROUS times .. no pickups or call backs. Finally went with someone else from HomeStars that did the job right.

Called Hightech to fix my fridge that had the freezer fan that would work intermittently and leaving contents thawing. Atiar came right on time and was extremely detailed in his explanation of possible problems. His diagnosis was more time consuming because my fan decided to choose that hour to work. Instead of leaving me with unclear solutions, he ran further tests and isolated the problem out to the controller board. He even gave me a choice of waiting to fix the problem if I didn't feel like spending on it or getting to the fix asap .. no pressure or up-selling. I appreciated his detailing me on the problem, and went with having him fix it. The job was done very efficiently and the space was left clean. Addendum: The refrigerator still didn't turn out to work quite right (not Hightech's fault but my fridge was on its last gasp) - called Hightech on a Sunday to see if it could be checked again. Atiar came promptly the following day despite not getting the part from GE (it was discontinued). While most techs would have called and given up, Atiar still came to see if it would work with something similar. To top it, he refused any money for the follow-up service call or the replacement part. It's not often that a contractor/tech takes such pride and ownership of my problem; and I felt that the least I could do is post an edit in appreciation.

Its hard to give anything less than a stellar review to a guy who helps you diagnose the problem over the phone.. Who then quotes the price for the job over the phone.. Comes in right on time and fixes the problem, does additional maintenance, and comes in right on quote... All that over the weekend. Steve from Open Sesame Inc. is a consummate professional, his experience allowed him to diagnose my problem through the layman gibberish I spewed over the phone. Came promptly with the parts necessary and explained the process and the fix. He went above his mandate in providing additional maintenance to the opener.

In all our experiences of buying lights for our projects .. We've been subject to 2 nerve-numbing types of stores : those that are run by people whose only expertise is in running that credit card swipe-o-matic and none in a working knowledge of the products they sell .. Or stores run by people who try hard to up-sell their services .. Both stores do manage to be overpriced. Lights On succeeds in being NONE of those! Having searched all through for competitively priced LED solutions for our basement (and finding none); we happened to find LightsOn and knew that we were dealing with a place we hope to deal with through any of our further needs. Alla was not just helpful in assessing our needs per the space; but went further in detailed interactions over email on the exact wattage we'd be looking at. Despite scaling up our purchase after the initial order, she showed remarkable flexibility in upgrading power supplies so that we weren't left with redundancies. Any technical questions were promptly taken care of by email; as were regular updates on order and delivery status. We've been very satisfied with our experience .. It's hard to find a place with as high a technical expertise, wide selection and competitive prices without having to give up on the exemplary service and personal attention - and we're happy we found one at Lights On!

Victorious Flooring quickly makes you run out of superlatives at every step of the way! The overwhelming theme coming out of our experience (second one) being .. why can't every contractor run their business this way? Mark came in on a Saturday morning, before our scheduled time and made very astute recommendations given our needs. He was perceptive in noting our situation with our dog and recommended carpet that would be safe for him. He was prompt in getting back to us with various quotes based on our carpet. The day of the carpeting saw "Al", his technician, work with incredible detail for about 16 hours, just to fit our schedule. Every stage of the job was meticulously worked on, with Al even taking the time to move our furniture about. We can honestly say that the last staple put in was done so with the same care as the first one, and it's a hard thing to do when he'd been working as long as he had. Communication with Victorious Flooring and Mark was a joy .. from selecting carpets and getting information on delivery dates; to setting up schedules and time-lines. This has been our second experience with VF and have been amazed by how much he values his relationship with his customers and getting the right product; all within extremely competitive prices. Thanks Mark and Al; we look forward to dealing with you in the very near future.

Mark & Victorious Flooring are what every contractor should aspire to be. From the moment he contacted us, his communication and his willingness to understand our needs were astounding. Showed up at home to take measurements 10 minutes EARLY and does a thorough assessment of the job at hand and a quote for our chosen carpet. Unfortunately, our chosen design was discontinued by manufacturer, and we ended up with making another selection a month later .. but Mark accommodated us without charging us for the difference in cost. Calls up on the appointed date to let me know that he would be in as scheduled; comes in and does an absolutely professional job. Kudos Mark .. you'll be hearing from us for more of our carpeting needs.
