I had some painting, staining, and some drywall repair done by this company over two years ago. They had to come back a couple of times to improve the drywall work they completed. I was told that this was the best they could do so I signed off on the project. Over the next year I had comments of how shotty the work was that Certapro South had done. Eventually a warranty card arrived in the mail and I took the time to bring up my concerns. Certapro sent a manager who took a few pictures and agreed the work was sub standard and that it would be fixed. I never heard from him again. I found out later that he "moved on" and no one followed up on my concerns. I spend the next two months with Certapro South being promised that they would get back to me with a repair date once they found someone who was capable to do the work and had time to do it. At least 7 phone calls met with excuses and delays got me nowhere. Eventually I was told that another representative would come by to have a look at the work. I new what was about to happen. After some inappropriate comments by this representative I was told that she would forward my concerns. Shortly after I was contacted by the general manager. He stated he was not going to come back to correct the poor work. I told him the previous manager was going to step up and fix the problem and asked why he was not? He said he could not comment on that. Of course I told him that I would pass this poor decision on his part to as many people as I could. He did not have any concerns about that. In summary, I strongly suggest anyone steers clear of this company. They have made it very clear that they not only have the properly trained staff to complete work properly, they also wont back up there work. There are plenty of talented and experienced companies out there that can do a better job and who will back up their work.

Andrew was recommended to me by another electrician. Blue Electrical has completed a number of different jobs for me. It was a pleasure hiring Andrew. His expertise and professionalism is always appreciated. I recommend Blue Electrical to all and look forward to continuing to use Andrew for all our future electrical needs.

A botched job from beginning to end on two different jobs. First was an install of carpet that was cut so many times because the installer was lazy. He then burned my carpet trying to seal all the cuts. I was told that they may or may not have done the damage. Are you kidding me. The underlay had two different thicknesses that was easily discernible. The look and workmanship was so bad I switched to laminate. The big mistake was using Jordan's again. A little over two years later the slats are sliding back and forth creating large gaps. When I called for repair I was told that it was beyond their two year workmanship warranty. Workmanship should be guaranteed for life. The product is fine, the install was sub standard. Jordan's was not interested at all in fixing the problem. With regards to Jordan's I have never come across such poor workmanship and customer care. Buyer beware! I will pass this on to all that I can starting with this Home Stars review.

We are near the end of a major renovation. We have had problems with all the trades we hired ranging from poor work, ever expanding costs, and questionable reliability. So I can say with true conviction that Ian was the best decision we made to complete our flooring and trim. Here it is laid out for everyone: Reliable, superb workmanship, work finished on time and on budget, and respectful. It's obvious that Ian takes pride in his work but what impressed us most was that he took care of us. Ian, we wished we had found you at the beginning of this renovation. It would have saved us a lot of unnecessary heartache and we wouldn't have this jaded view we have now with a lot of the trades in Calgary. Ian will be the first carpenter that we will recommend to our friends and family. Thanks again Ian. You stand out above the rest. Enough to inspire us for the first time ever to write a review.
