We purchased the dishwasher, via Caplan's due to their reputation, the sales experience went well. However, when Miele called to confirm delivery for the next morning, we asked about installation, they promptly told us that would be an additional $290 - a fact the sales man failed to tell us. The salesman also "forgot" to tell us that we would have to arrange for and schedule installation separately. The end result is the dishwasher was sitting in our kitchen with no one to install it - the delivery men told us this happens all the time as the salespeople do not understand the Miele system (apparently not just Caplan's), but as a leading retailer, I expected more. I ended up installing myself, as leaving it in the kitchen for an extended period was not an option. When I called Caplan's for an explanation of this misunderstanding, they seemed indifferent, at best.
