Toilet was replaced with a narrower one as the original never fit the space properly. Neat and clean installation. Plumber was professional efficient and knowledgeable.

Maria and her team are incredible. They did a 360 degree cleaning, ceiling to floor of my main floor of my home after a kitchen reno created a layer of silt, and sawdust on all exposed surfaces. They were thorough and efficient. They also cleaned and sanitized my washroom. I have recommended them already to others who may need the same service.

Service was provided to replace an exterior electrical outlet which was faulty, and shorted out. The outlet was replaced with a new one, with new wiring into the home, and a cover placed. It was neatly and quickly installed.

This beautiful backyard patio was designed and built by Thompson Construction & Renovation. The cedar patio is anchored with poured concrete, and has a lower level as well, so will last a long time. The built-in bench seen at the back of the first photo, has waterproof storage below. The shutters open. They built a lovely herb garden wall shown in the second photo. The team are reliable, fast, pleasant to work with, and I feel the quality was excellent.

Michael Yuffa, came out Monday, following a call of an odd smell coming from the laundry tub drain Friday afternoon. By Sunday evening, water showed up on the floor of the basement, in the utility room. Fortunately Michael explored inside and outside the house to open the pipe again, and all was well. He has been my plumber of choice for a couple of years now, and I feel confident of his knowledge, ability, efficiency, and courtesy.

Since Ruhul Amin has been managing our mouse situation, we no longer hear, or see mice in the house. He has been punctual, informative, efficient, and polite. Most importantly though, is that he has been effective.

Michael Thompson, of Thompson Construction, was one of three contractors I contacted. He was extremely knowledgeable about details of the work to be done, emphasizing the importance of doing the work with the best long term result. He did the work himself with his two employees. He was either on site, or guided them for short periods while away. A lot of the work was accomplished by Michael. The work related to leakage into a back stair addition of my 100 year old Beach home. It smelled of mildew, was cold, and I could see water damage on the plasterboard. During the renovation, as predicted, there was damage to the foundation, requiring waterproofing of the basement area, on the outside of the house. Due to dry-rot of the wood, a rebuild of the addition was also extensive. With each issue, Michael showed me what the concern was, and how it could be solved. The final result was magnificent, as Michael maintained to beauty of the original woodwork, but with new wood. It is now warm, dry, and mildew free. I did not think it could be done! The wrought iron fence was installed to such a high level of skill, my neighbour is now asking Michael to continue the fence onto his property. Because my neighbour is in the construction business, and would know a number of good people, I was impressed Michael was asked to do this work. By the way, my neighbour did not know Michael prior to the work. I recommend Thompson Construction without reservation, and will have him back in the spring for further work.

My kitchen faucet broke so I was no longer able to use it. I ordered a nice new faucet on line, but needed it installed. The moment it arrived, I called WaterWorks, and they arranged to have Michael come out the same day. It was beautifully installed, works well, and I found Michael knowledgeable, and very polite. This is my second time calling this company, and due to their responsiveness and work ethic, have purchased their protection plan. Thanks!

Ruhul came over shortly after my call, to control mouse problem in my home. He was thorough, respectful, and provided a great service for us, setting traps where mice were found. Service is guaranteed for 6 months.

My Kenmore washer stopped working during the spin cycle last night. I found Atop Appliances was in the Beaches area. The gentleman came in less than 1/2 hour, replaced broken part, and demonstrated washer was in good repair before leaving. Laundry room was left clean. He advised to avoid replacing the 7 year old washer as parts were readily accessible and affordable, not so for some newer appliances. I felt he was professional, knowledgeable, and available on short notice.
