We decided to build floor to ceiling bookshelves in one room of our new house and hired Ewen based on the reviews he had received on Homestars. We are so very glad that we did. He's a top notch carpenter. He came to our house, talked through all of our options (what wood to use, what construction to go with etc), responded promptly to all email queries, quoted a price (which, importantly, was the final price we paid - nothing hidden or extra was added), and once we had commissioned the work, completed and installed the shelves in very short order (about 2 weeks). The work was immaculate and we love the shelves. More importantly, Ewen is an all around good guy. He speaks with a passion about his work and life and one cannot help but be drawn in by his limitless energy and boundless enthusiasm. We would have no qualms at all about recommending Ewen to any prospective client.

We found Prestige on homestars and were impressed by the positive reviews. Navigating their website was easy and the self quote function was a useful tool to ball park the cost. We filled out the form expecting that it would prompt a call from the company to discuss terms and times. However, this was not the case. The online work estimate form, without stating such explicitly, misleadingly acts as a work approval. Without realizing it, we had engaged the company and were quite surprised to find that the work had been done while we were out of the house. This was quite a shock and we would have preferred that the process included a confirmation phone call. Having said that, the company came to our house and finished the work on the day we requested at the cost listed. Their speed and the work itself was impeccable. They cleaned the eaves thoroughly and left no mess. In fact, the only trace of their work was a paper bag filled with the removed remnants. Top notch work. Moreover, my conversation with Sergio was professional and helpful, the sign of excellent customer service. So despite the website snafu, I would hire them without reservation in the future.

We had a great experience with Ultimate Movers. Negotiations with Michelle and Phyllis were handled promptly and professionally. Any concerns we had were addressed and the price was vastly superior to other quotes we had received. The moving crew of Andy, Jon and Josh was fantastic. Each man provided excellent service, whether navigating the rather tight spaces behind our house, to moving some of our heavier stuff. Every task was completed with a cheery demeanor and an exemplary level of professionalism. We thank them for making what could have been a very stressful day fairly easy in the end. We would have little trouble recommending them to any potential client and will be sure to call your company if we move again.
