Two years ago we had our roof, eaves troughs, fascia and soffits replaced. Recently, we have been renovating our kitchen and two days after our new insulation and drywall were installed, the roof leaked, causing us to have to redo insulation and drywall in about a quarter of our kitchen ceiling. Kelly arrived immediately, along with Jim and D'Arcy to rectify the situation, which they did to our complete satisfaction. As an example of value added, they replaced shingles that had been removed by our gas fitter when he was putting a range vent through the roof; obviously this was not Hubbard's responsibility, but they chose to help us out and ensure that the vent would not leak in future. I truly appreciate this demonstration of excellent customer service.

Hi Denise,

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us this 10 star review. We appreciate that you contacted us immediately and that we were able to rectify the situation quickly. We were more than happy to replace the shingles removed by the gas fitter as a functioning roof is our top priority. Thank you again, The Hubbard Team

We had just completed drywalling and needed to have the dust cleaned out. AdVan Pro was recommended by my plumber/gasfitter and they did a very thorough job - the air in our house is much cleaner now.

Eight years ago, Hubbard Roofing replaced our shingles and did an adequate job, although we did seem to have mysterious water leaks into our kitchen and master bedroom, the cause of which was not resolved. Two years ago hail damaged our roof and we needed to have it replaced. We chose Hubbard again because our roof was still on warranty. We added the soffits, eaves troughs and fascia to the job, which was performed in November and December, 2014, which Hubbard pushed to do, though we were keen to wait until the spring. I am shocked at the shoddiness of the job, which we were told by the foreman, D'Arcy, was "meeting minimum code". By the time we heard that phrase, we had paid for the job. We pointed out exposed wood, shoddily cut shingles, etc., but since "minimum code" was being met, nothing was done. Today I noticed a large stretch of fascia that is bowed; some nails were painted, others were not. Sarah Hubbard's attitude in collecting payments was hostile, rude and grasping. Overall, I am tremendously disappointed in the job (shingles are already turning up after eight months), in the attitude of the workers and in the lack of professionalism in being willing to do the bare minimum. To this day no one has come to retrieve the garbage they left or to do cleanup. But Sarah was certainly on our doorstep to collect our money.

Hi Denise,
We are very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience and were under the impression you were completely satisfied with the work after receiving your e-mail praising the company and crew for a job well done last.
The email you sent us on November 24, 2014 went as follows

“Good Morning, Kelly,
Just a quick note to tell you that the new roofs look very, very good. The black was a terrific choice - from across the street, it seems to "ground" the house. D'Arcy's crew was fantastic. Every member was friendly, respectful, good-humoured, efficient and,
from what we observed, very competent.
Please pass on our appreciation and praise!
Thanks!
Denise"
Had we known you felt differently or that something had changed since then we would have reached out to you immediately to discuss what could be done to remedy the situation. I would be happy to review the entire project with you and if any deficiencies are found they will be addressed without delay.
Sincerly,
Kelly
