Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

The first time we had someone come for this problem he diagnosed it incorrectly. He did manage to get the heater going but a few days later the problem reoccurred so I scheduled another visit. Later that night I managed to get it going so I cancelled my appointment. The next day a technician came to my house while I was out. I called him to apologize for not being home and explained that I had cancelled my appointment. He asked what the issue was which I explained and he suggested he come by and check anyway. He made arrangements to be here in 10 minutes. He asked me some questions and this time he correctly diagnosed the problem and replaced the parts. He was very pleasant to deal with and Direct Energy should have more just like him!
