I thought the problem was electrical. The pool panel kept tripping. My pool gas technician recommended Fred from Curtis Pools. Their serviceman arrived early the next day. He problem-solved by disconnecting the pump and seeing if all the other items were working (lights, heater, chlorinator, pump.) Then he hooked up the pump and it tripped the breaker - so we knew where the problem was. There was rust and build-up on the pump casing and faulty electrics, so it was time for a change. He worked efficiently and professionally in very tight quarters on a very hot day, and replaced the pump in an hour.

My original call was for flushing the lines for slow-draining toilets. Jason and his assistant were prompt, skilled, open about alternatives but no pressure, and thorough. After line clearance was completed, with video from the specialized camera, he showed me the before and after. After some thought I decided to replace the toilets (1960s vintage.) The cost covered the price of 2 new toilets (which Jason picked up), installation, and the original line clearance. They also followed COVID safety protocols. And they liked my dogs. very pleased with their service.

The technician came and assessed the problem with my stove overheating. He thought it was the Controls and that we would need a new one. The technician came to remove it so I could find a replacement (Kenmore no longer makes the parts.) I found a company which repairs the units and took it there. They said they couldn’t replicate the error message, so it wasn’t the control panel - probably the temp probe. The technician came back and reinstalled the control board at no charge, then replaced the temperature probe also at no charge because of the original error. He didn’t even charge me for the new probe. That was very honourable of him. We have used his service a few times and have always been happy with the result. Even in the case of this error, he made good on the job. The oven is working great!

This is the third time I have used Rick’s service. He is prompt, professional, thorough. He even talked me out of a previous repair of a dishwasher saying I’d be better off purchasing a new machine. This time, he fixed/replaced the door locking mechanism. The part was $160 and labour was $120. I gave him the model number over the phone so he arrived with the part. Job done in half an hour.

The fan on the air conditioning unit outside wasn't working on the hottest day of the year, so I had no cooling system. Justin from Park Aire came first thing the next morning at 7:00 a.m. He immediately identified the source of the problem, replaced the part and was gone in 20 minutes. Great service! This was the third time I've used Park Aire- the first 2 were for furnace repair. They have consistently been courteous, efficient and fairly-priced.

My garage door went CLUNK. Glad I wasn't standing under it! I could see loose cables so I knew it was beyond my ability to tinker with it. I called Easy Flip and got a friendly gentleman who let me know that the service call would be $79. He said he'd be here that day between 12 and 3 -- and he was. Mike was polite, helpful, professional and quick. The whole job took less than a 1/2 hour. The torsion spring was $85 and HST brought the total to $185. He changed the light bulbs for me and explained about lubricating the parts for ongoing maintenance. A job well done! I highly recommend this small, family-owned business. I initially called one of the companies listed here with many more reviews but they were too busy to take my business. Glad I found Easy Flip!
