Our home in Markham, Ontario has a 3 car garage driveway. Together with a side walkway and rear patio, over 1,500 sq ft of concrete was beautifully installed for us along with new steps and porch. We began our contractor selection with the conviction we only wanted to engage with concrete specialists and not a jack of all trades. After much research and consultation with three different companies, we decided to place our trust in Patterned Concrete’s 40 years experience. The entire team at Patterned Concrete were very professional. Installation were done promptly with no interruptions to my neighbours. We ensured we compared fairly to get 6” concrete on top of 6” compacted crushed stone. All of this is reinforced with 10M Rebar to better survive Canadian Winter. Very high grade. Thank you Joe and the entire Patterned Concrete Team! I will ensure I return to buy high quality sealers from Patterned Concrete to avoid unfair issues unlike some other reviews I've read. Our home in Markham, Ontario has a 60' x 130' lot. After much research and consultation with six different companies, we decided to place our trust in Allan Brookes and his company, AA Waters and Brookes. They were the most professional of all irrigation contractors we met with. Our Rainbird and Hunter System was designed by a Professional Engineer who is a Certified Irrigation Contractor and Certified Irrigate Designer. AA Waters and Brookes is a full service company who took responsibility from start to finish. It began with the company making all necessary arrangements to perform locates with the City of Markham and various Utilities to avoid digging in the wrong areas. We did not have to do so ourselves. All components and workmanship were of top quality. Five professionals comprised of Certified Irrigation Contractor, Certified Irrigation Designer, Certified Irrigation Technician, Certified Landscape Technician, and Certified Backflow Tester completed our installation in one day with no interruptions nor compliants from my neighbours. They even sprinkled grass seeds in bare areas before they left. An unadvertised service and nice gesture. We selected the upgraded Rainbird Model ESP-SMTe with weather-based control for WaterSense compliance and water savings of 30-70% depending upon the month. Avoid over watering your lawn in the spring and fall while saving money on watering costs. This weather-based computer performs all adjustments automatically! ESP-SMTe integrates technology used by top golf courses for decades and puts it into a user friendly controller. If it's good enough for golf course, it's good enough for me. Thanks to Allan and his entire team. They'll be back for a post installation follow up in 2 weeks. If I could rate them 11, I would!

We decided to replace all three Bathroom Countertops with Quartz. From there, we decided on Silestone which we already used in our kitchen for several years. Cosentino Group distributes Silestone in Canada and their showroom directed us to Aurora Marble as one of their authorized contractors in the Markham area. The entire team at Aurora Marble was professional from consultation to installation phase. They did a much better job than our prior contractor who installed our kitchen countertop several years ago. We highly recommend Aurora Marble to anyone in the Greater Toronto Area looking for quality Marble, Granite, Quartzstone or Limestone for Kitchens, Bathrooms and Worktops at a reasonable price.
