I recently bought a condo that was in need of a little love - especially the closets. The developer had designed a great walk-through closet in the master bedroom but spoiled it by putting terrible, cheap wire shelves in - hard to describe - have never seen anything quite like them. The condo also doesn't have a flex space so I also needed the front closet to be turned into a utility closet. Brett and his assistant measured everything up and within 3 days got back to me with a detailed design and very reasonable quote. When I asked for a couple minor tweaks to the design, Brett cheerfully obliged. When install day arrived, they were right on time, carefully stacked everything in my tiny kitchen and got to work - so quietly you could hardly imagine any work was happening. When they were done - hours sooner than I'd imagined - my closets were perfect! I keep joking that I'd like to move into my closets they're so beautiful. So to recap: great design, great price, great product, lovely guys, efficient, punctual, respectful of my property and tidied everything up (even vacuumed their dust - which I've never had a contractor do before). Recommend 100%

The Pro in ProRise definitely stands for professional - every member of the team that I interacted with has been a star. Kevin, in particular was extremely helpful and organized and arranged every detail of the job - including setting up a consult with a terrific interior decorator who helped me pick my colours. The painting crew was wonderful - arrived on time, did the job in the time they said it would take and cleaned right up after themselves. My place has been utterly transformed from drab and dumpy to light and beautiful. I wholeheartedly recommend this company!

Wow, I am so impressed. I had three other companies turn me down on this miserable rainy day, but not Darrell. The flashing on my chimney failed and rain was streaming down it and seeping through my ceiling. He was able to send a colleague over within the hour to check out the problem and make a great rainy day fix to get me through till the permanent solution can be put in place. The drips have dried up and I can stop worrying. Courteous, prompt, and fair - a real pro outfit. Thanks!

We needed to have our power line moved from under our roof soffits to a roof mast, and to have the service upgraded to 200 amp. I'm so pleased we hired Silverback for this work! Aaron responded to our initial email inquiry really quickly and had a quote to us shortly after getting our photos/job details. His quote was very fair and matched my final invoice with no surprises. The work took place over two days and Aaron and Andrew arrived right on time both days. In addition to doing fine work (which passed inspection no problem) they were both very considerate of my property - e.g., laying down cardboard so as not to track mud on my floor, carefully cutting out my drywall so it can be reinstalled etc. Aaron also had all the details sorted out - once I hired him I didn't have to worry about dealing with Hydro, permits or inspectors. It was all organized at his end - all I had to do was be there to open the gate. It's just like the Silverback website says - these guys are reliable, honest and friendly and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

We have an older home and Neil was here for hours cleaning up a crazy rat's nest of sketchy (part aluminum, part copper, part horrible mystery) wiring that we found plastered behind our bathroom wall. He sorted everything out, explaining exactly what he was doing and why. He also did it all thoughtfully making the barest minimum of holes in our walls. If anything else comes up he's the pro I'll call and I'll be recommending him to all my friends!

I've just received my new sofa and wing chair. I'm extremely happy with both. They are beautifully well made, sturdy, comfortable - and everything is exactly as I'd ordered. This is my second purchase - bought a sofa from them 2 or 3 years ago and that was another great purchase! This time I was lucky enough to wander into the showroom when they were having a sale and got both pieces for less than I'd budgeted for the sofa. They also included 2 gorgeous throw pillows in the purchase. The saleswoman Patricia who helped me knows her stock like the back of her hand. I feel like she showed me every bolt of fabric in the building - all with a kind smile and no hint of impatience. What a pro! Finally I've got to commend the delivery service the company uses. These fellows are very pleasant, quick and efficient. They work with shoes off or on - whatever you prefer - and remove all the protective wrapping and install protective felt pads on the feet of your furniture. They clear all the wrappings away and are in and out of your house in a snap. Everything about the experience of getting my furniture was super - the only teeny tiny downside is that you do have to wait a bit for it to be made. They did tell me up front that it would be about 6 - 8 weeks and it ultimately just took 6, but I was a bit impatient to get my stuff :-) The only possible improvement for me would be if they could somehow get the furniture made up a big quicker than that, but I suppose it wouldn't be the same quality if it got banged out in a week! All in all I'm very happy and will definitely be back again.

I also decided to go with Jason based on reviews I saw on this site and I'm delighted to say that he totally lived up to the billing! He's everything that the other reviewers have described: friendly, knowledgable, reliable, fast, efficient and careful. I appreciated the time he took in outlining my options - I could go for a quick fix with a generic part or wait a day and get the manufacturer's part. He explained the advantages and disadvantages of both options so I could make an informed choice. I also really appreciated the respectful way that he treated my home - shoes off at the door even though I didn't ask, kept his tools all neat and tidy and he even cleaned up the yucky puddles that my fridge leaked on the floor. His invoice was very fair considering the high quality work and that he came to my place twice. I highly recommend Jason and his will be the first number I dial when the next appliance melts down.
