I asked Eric to break down our current deck and replace with new boards which would be stained. Job included removal and rebuild of the decks. The build went well but were all nailed when some deck boards were to be screwed in place to provide access to the roof drainage area ( these were just dropped in and left loose). Not acceptable. We communicated but Eric was only interested in booking more work, when this was not done correctly. One of his workers also came to stain and that ended up being 3 days and he used my T-shirt for a rag. Eric finally showed up to receive his last $500 with one 6ft board to replace the 22 ft of timber railing?

We are terribly sorry to hear about the one floating piece of deck board and any inconvenience this may be causing as this was requested to our crew on-site for access to clean your gutters after the project had begun. We needed a small side fence to cover an existing 4 ft border wall between our front yard and our neighbours property after removing some deseased trees. I explained what I wanted and Thomas was right on point. He also removed some tree roots from an overgrown lilac tree which were in the way, which was not really his job! In the back yard he rescued a deck that had gone wrong. We had significant water damage over the past 4 years on one side of the deck which had to be raised and relevelled. The cedar deck was fitted with glass side walls and a privacy screen. Thomas is a skilled carpenter and a great person to work with.

Beware…Stay Away. The company owner took a $2500 deposit to start the job when he was not even able to pay for the bin left in our driveway. No work was completed and he spent 2 weeks trying to upsell us and insisting on additional cash deposit of $4000. He signed a contract with a fake last name and incorrect address. He ran out of our house when we confronted him. Please beware!

Customer initially agreed to $3000.00 deposit but later agreed to a deposit of $2500.00 and pay the $500.00 bin cost as I could not be
at the job at that time to make the payment.
Customer asked for referrals and received referrals and she didn't find any concerns with them.
As to the two weeks of up sell, it was actually two weeks of indecision as to which stone and what she would like and looking up on the internet what everything should cost.
As for running out of the house, I gave up when the customer decided that she wanted to be the contractor and wanted her money back after work was already started.
We have many happy customers that we worked for in the past eight years in the Bayview Village/North York area.
All that the customer paid was the $3000.00 on a
$12,000.00 quote.
The deposit is non-refundable after work has started and customer wants to take the job out of our hands.
