We had a great experience with Steve at Maple Leaf Garage Doors! He was extremely responsive, always picked up the phone when we called and got back to us promptly with updates. His quote was reasonable from the very beginning and all costs were clearly explained upfront. Installation day went smoothly and the end product is absolutely stunning! I don't have a lot of free time so dealing with a business that is reliable, trustworthy, and efficient with good communication skills and high quality product is top priority for me. Steve takes his time to ensure that the job is done well the first time and uses high quality products, that he backs up with a warranty, to give customers peace of mind and the ability to get back to all of their other responsibilities knowing that they are in goods hands. I'm so glad that I chose to do business with Maple Leaf Garage Doors and will take every opportunity that I get to refer people to this great business. Thank You!!

Long story short, our 15 year old high efficiency furnace wouldn't come on when the cold weather hit so we called around for quotes. Direct energy sent a service guy who couldn't repair the furnace, then a sales guy who tried to get us to buy an over-priced new system, then a repair guy who gave us a quote to fix the furnace but who didn't have the right part to complete the job. After 2 weeks of calls and appointments we finally had someone show up with the right part, he had it installed within 10 minutes with the furnace up and running no problem and yet we still got billed for an hour worth of labour.

Our first experience with Home Decor (for the exact same project) was so great that when we moved this year and decided to replace a couple of doors and their hardware we called them right away. I was so pleased with the quality of the work and finished product the first time (helped us sell our house!) that I was surprised when they were even more helpful, courteous and efficient the second time we worked with them. Home Decor made me a custom entry door that was exactly what I wanted down to the last minute detail and it is gorgeous and continues to get compliments. The team rushed our order for us and got both doors installed in record time which I appreciated considering the cold weather. I would recommend this company to anyone and have already recommended them to friends.

The guys were really nice but I should have spent the extra money and hired professionals who likely would have done the job in less time, with less damage, so probably would have been cheaper in the end. My bad for going the 'discount' route.

Closet organization was the only 'must have' on my list for our new house and I'm thrilled that we found Herc from Georgia Peach to turn our completely non-functional closets into organizational masterpieces. I could not believe the attention to detail and relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction that Herc has and demonstrated at every step of this project. He is honest and passionate about what he does which is very rare to find. We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire him and with the functionality of the closets that he provided for us. Not only did he give us 6 great closets but he even repaired cracks in our walls!! This was not in our original scope of work at all and he did it at no additional cost!!! Herc's ongoing commitment to making sure that the customer gets exactly what they want and need, at every stage of the project AND post-installation (yes, he actually follows up after the install to make sure that the choices you made actually work for you!!!) are unparalleled. I know many people who chose different renovations for their home (not closet organization) and they all regret not having their closets done first.

I hired Dennis to switch out my old 'fuse box' with a new breaker box as well as fix some non-functional outlets in my house, some reverse polarity outlets, add a GFI in the basement washroom and remove some unnecessary outlets from the kitchen. From the initial quote to job completion it was a pleasure dealing with Dennis. His quote was accurate and honest, he had the foresight and experience to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day of the job and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend Global Works Electric and will use them in the future for any electrical work that I require.

I was quoted $110 all in over the phone to have my ducts cleaned. Two guys showed up and after being in my house for under 5 minutes one guy, 'Samy', told me that my humidifier had been incorrectly installed and was creating excess moisture and black mold in my windows. They also said that my furnace wasn't running properly and needed to be cleaned as well as a few other items. I told him to write everything down and I would discuss with my husband and get back to them. He said that the work had to be done right away as it was a health risk to my family. I told him that I wasn't prepared to pay for any additional services that day and Samy said that it was a serious issue that required immediate attention. I told him that myself and my 3 small children had an appointment in the afternoon and couldn't stick around for the work to be done as we had to leave the house and he said the work wouldn't take long, it needed to be done and I had to decide right away. I was feeling completely intimidated and overwhelmed at this point and instead of kicking the men out of my house, which would have been the wise decision, I decided to say 'fine' and avoid a confrontation. A couple minutes later I went back to Samy and said that I would rather deal with the company that I purchased the humidifier and furnace from and I didn't want him to do the work - my last attempt to get them out of my house. He said that it was too late to change my mind and I had no choice. I ended up having the original installer look at the work completed by Total Duct Cleaning and Samy had made up the entire story as the humidifier never needed to be moved in the first place, in addition TDC left large open holes in my duct work, they moved the humidifier to a place where it didn't fit and used duct tape to try to hide the mess they made. They charged me over $1200, and when I questioned specific services that I had paid for they end up admitting that they hadn't even done some of the services that they had charged me for. I have made several calls to the company to resolve these issues and they do not return my phone calls and if someone happens to pick up the phone they transfer me around and say the manager/supervisor is not available and the person that I am talking to (i.e. 'George') doesn't have the authority to do anything about the situation. I know that I should have listened to my instincts AND done the research first... I have recently learned that this company scores an "F" with the Better Business Bureau as a result of multiple complaints that they refuse to respond to and/or resolve. BEWARE!
