Included this company as one of 3 for quote. None seemed to agree, so I was forced to hire an engineer for unbiased opinion of condition of building. 99% of what engineer said seemed to jive with what I was told by Harold Spritzenger? who works for E W Smith. His quote was the fairest and he did not exceed it. We were prepared for surprises once the work got underway, and even thought there were a couple, he just fixed them and carried on. Not even mentioning them until we asked.

Extremely disappointing 3rd experience with this outfit. Phone quote was approx. $360 providing it was an uncomplicated job. Naturally when he got there is became a complicated job which required an additional just under $300. Had to be pre-paid before he would start. Worked for at least an hour and finally put everything back and said he was unable to find clog and there was nothing more he could do. Has agreed to return and snake some more providing we find the clog where ever in the pipes it may be. I thought the plumber was a nice guy, but I'm not sure if I was grossly ripped off or is this where the business is going? Oh yeah, then they try to sell you a membership.

As is often the case when we try to assess a problem over the phone, the price can change when we see the job.
In this case a plugged drain was snaked several times and then re-plumbed because it was in such bad shape.
The problem was determined to be in the store below the apartment. the drain would have to be located by opening walls and ceilings. The customer was to arrange with the store but never called us back. The customer was already a member and was reimbursed the difference.
