BUYER BEWARE! I bought a whirlpool washing machine from a major appliance retailer in Calgary in September 2018 . At the time of purchase I was told I had a one year manufacturers warranty. In June 2019 the machine lost power. After some trouble shooting, it seemed the washer stopped working after a power outage that lasted about 30 seconds. I called Whirlpool and was told the warranty doesn't cover damages due to "power surges". NO other appliance of mine quit - not the fridge, microwave, stove, all of which are more than 8 years old and NOT Whirlpool appliances. The computer, air conditioner - all fine. After arguing with 3 different people Whirlpool FINALLY offered half off the price of the part (which costs $500). Not good enough as far as I'm concerned. Crystal, the supervisor, told me I was told at the time of my purchase the warranty doesn't cover power surges. Apparently I was "told" this because the service agreement "clearly states" power surges are not covered. What I WAS told when I bought the appliance is I have a one year manufacturers warranty. I find it disgraceful that Whirlpool refuses to stand by their products and will not acknowledge that I was sold a LEMON!

They may have had the best quote (by about $300) but they are NOT worth the hassle. Horrible customer service. Horrible job-pictures to prove it. Even left their pile of garbage in my kitchen. They were 6hours late for the job (showed up at 8pm instead of 2pm), installed a sink that immediately stained, and did a botch install (see pics - they did not clean the underside of the granite that is exposed over the island but caulked it anyway!!! The end result - cake with dirt that has no way of being cleaned). The two emails I have sent - close to a week for a response. Not impressed. Trust me when I say the money you might save is not worth it.

As a single mother, getting rid of the junk I disposed of following a move was not an easy task. First of all, I didn't own a truck nor did I feel comfortable inconveniencing friends and / or family to lend their time and resources. As well, moving is a costly endeavour as it is and I really didn't want to incur extra costs by hiring a junk removal service. The end result was a garage packed full of items I no longer wanted, or needed. Having this 'mess' hanging over my head week after week drove me nuts and I eventually decided it needed to be dealt with-quickly! I called several junk removal companies, and found there was quite a variance in availability, price and even professionalism. Fortunately, 310-Dump immediately stood out as one of the better companies. Right off the bat the administrative staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave me a quote that was less than what I was expecting to pay, and was right on (no surprises when the bill came!). And, they were able to get a truck out the next morning. When the guys showed up their service was fast and hassle free. I pointed out the items that were to be taken away, and went back inside the house and finished my coffee! Also, assuming that everything would be going to the landfill, I was happy to hear that my old electronics and various pieces of furniture would be either recycled or re-used. I can't say enough about my experience with 310-dump! I was really dreading what I perceived would be a HUGE hassle - hidden charges, or appointment times with a "four hour window". 310-dump was quick, easy, affordable and convenient. I wish I would have considered them sooner.
