As soon as I got in touch with him and we had our first meeting I knew that I don't need to call anyone else for this. Alex came by and won us over instantly. Not only does he know the technical parts but he was able to guide the conversations based on our needs as a family in the future. He helped us realize that we wanted something more in some areas and maybe less in others and definitely helped us shape the entire scope and direction of the renovation and we are very thankful for that. He was patient with us, gave us time and space to understand how and where he will execute the work and was able to explain it from start to finish. Once the final decision was made, the contract was signed and he started the drawings and permits process. Even in these difficult times where delays are pretty much the norm, he was able to get the permits approved in record time. The work was executed with clockwork precision, the crew was amazing and Alex always explained what is happening now, what are the next steps and when things will get done, and he's always been exactly true to the estimates. When challenges arose, as they always do, Alex always provided a couple of options and a recommendation - I really appreciated that about working with Alex. As for the price, he will openly tell you he is not the cheapest but don't believe it :). When you factor in the quality of the work, the hassle-free engineer drawing, permit, revision process, the city inspection, the speed and the overall peace of mind when you see those big beefy metal beams supporting your house, there is no other company that will match Aldo. As part of a bigger renovation project, we wanted to upgrade our main water service to 3/4' as well as install a backwater valve and upgrade the drain pipes that go out of the house. Strong Plumbing was recommended to us by another contractor on site doing structural work and I am very happy I got in touch with Valentin. He came by the very next day and was able to provide very clear quote for the work that needs to be done both in terms of money and time. We had a couple other quotes for this portion of the job and Valentin's price and plan was the best by far. The work started and finished exactly according to plan and the team was flexible enough to help me with some last minute small requests when digging and replacing the drain pipes. I was very impressed with the team's workmanship, equipment and quality of work. It is clear that they do this a lot and have the tools and expertise to do a great job. When they finished my basement was left clean and tidy as they found it. Thank you Valentin and team for helping me out with my big reno project.

Had a gas leak in the basement and service was shut-off by Enbridge. I put a request at 3pm and Extel Gas responded in a matter of minutes. By 4pm Raz was at my place with the tools needed for the job to fix my problem on the spot. Because I needed some further gas line re-routings Raz said it'd be best if he came back the next day to take care of everything. He came back next morning at 9am and completed the work in a few hours. Price was extremely reasonable and the work looks great (he even fixed some other things that were not broken but were not properly done by the previous owners). From now on. Extel Gas is my No. 1 go to for anything Gas or HVAC related in my house. Thank you Raz.

Doing a home renovation during pandemic is really hard. Especially when you are trying to buy fixtures and you can't see them or talk to a sales representative in person. However, Amati provided us with great support over email and phone, discussed options and real-time stock updates, and offered us alternatives (which we ended up getting) for products that we wanted. I used the website to book a home inspection online and got a call back within 2 hours to finalize the details. Vahn was extremely helpful and gave me all the details on how and what to expect the day of the inspection. On the day, Vahn was extremely punctual (even though I had put a wrong address on the form :) ) and started the inspection right away. He was very open and we discussed every step of the way providing me with a wealth of tips and gotchas along the way. I really really appreciated his patience, friendliness and willingness to provide detailed feedback on every little detail and question I had. I called ExpressRooter plumbing at 10am in the morning and by 1pm Andrew had already come and fixed the problem. Andrew was very professional, gave me good advice and inspired trust and confidence in the work he was performing. He also was good enough to help with a secondary drain problem that was not in the initial work order.
