Joe is a very knowledgeable appliance repairman, courteous, and kind. He takes the time to explain things to you and clearly takes pride in his work as well as ensuring that the client is satisfied. He repaired our 15 year old Maytag dishwasher and also gave great advice on the "repair vs. replace" aspect of not only the dishwasher, but other appliances as well. Definitely, Joe has earned his high rating on HomeStars and I would recommend him.

Barry from Aspect Roofing was recommended by a neighbour. Barry was very professional and his crew did a great job on replacing the roof. They were very careful with preparing the area around the house (using plywood to protect the house and moving our patio furniture away from the structure). They did a good job of cleaning up the property as well. The roof looks great, and as another poster said, our roof looks much better than some of the others recently done by other roofing contractors. There was some minor damage (tar on side of brick) which Barry promptly resolved and some very minor damage to our shed due to something falling on it, but Barry made it right. These things happen and Barry took the right steps to make us happy. So no major complaints there. Other than those minor issues, I would highly rate and recommend Aspect Roofing.

This is the third time we have hired A Finer Edge painting and we've never been let down. They are the utmost of professionals in the business and they really take pride in their work. They are quick, conscientious, and do a great job. If there is something that you want rectified, they are always very accommodating. We felt so comfortable with them in our past two experiences, this time we left them the keys and went on a trip. When we returned, it was like our home was brand new again! Beautiful job with very little to nitpick. They were also very accommodating to fit within our schedule and (as always) got the job done on time. My only complaint is as I recommend them to all of my friends (and they recommend them to their friends), I'm afraid one day that they'll be too busy for the next job I want them for! But so far, they have a great team and a large base of very professional painters, so this doesn't seem to be a problem... We were pleasantly surprised to hear that they do home renovation work as well. We will definitely consider them given their stellar painting service when it comes time to finish our basement.
