After the ice storm I needed some repair on the concrete stairs and Otto's was called in to do some patchwork on it and I was pleased with the job. When the old re-bar enforced concrete sill under the Bay window started to crumble, I called Otto's for an estimate. Not only did they remove the old concrete, they replaced it with a beautiful Indiana limestone. It took a little time to get the job started but, once they did, it was swift in execution and on budget. Looks better than new.

Be warned! I got a call from this company offering a special deal in my area. I know that's a red flag but thought I'd hear him out. The offer... Thorough duct cleaning, including all vents for $110.00 plus tax. What could I lose, so I made the appointment. They came and seemed decent enough guys until the assistant started hauling filthy hoses through the side entrance with total disregard for walls, paint, etc. Then this same guy dragged another dirty, grimy house through my home and up the stairs. Once in the formal living room and dining room, he knocked over lamps, bumped furniture, and almost broke a very expensive display of antique china. I lost it and had a very animated discussion with the lead member of the 2-man team who assured me he was sorry and that better care would ensue. Then comes the bill. As advertised, $110 for the cleaning, $12 for each of the 14 vents ($168) and "serious recommendations" for a $190 filter, a new digital thermostat $175, antibacterial spray at $85, built in humidifier for $485 and finally a $550 UV bacteria eliminator bulb!?!?. He stated that the flat rate of $110 wouldn't cover the 14 vents as he was unaware of any "package deal" being offered. Needless to say, I only paid $110... Inclusive! By the way, the cheque was to be made out to "Home Pro", whoever they are. Regardless of who they are, their name is inappropriate. Do not use either of these company's services if they call out of the blue or you'll be blue in the face.

Suffered damage to our eavestrough and downspout during the 2013 ice storm. Made 5 calls to 5 different advertisers. This guy was the only respondent and he called me back the very next day! Got an onsite quote the same day. On time, friendly, expert job and on budget. Will use him again this spring for some much needed other repairs and updates. If you are looking... Call this guy.
