My parents bought a new furnace just over a year ago with a 10 Yr warranty. 2 weeks ago it broke in the deep freeze of -20C and Sears took a week to come and fix it. My parents are seniors. They were told to buy portable heaters. They had no running watter and they were not allowed to leave the houseduringg business hours in case the Sears repair man was to show up. Sears assured my parents 3 times that someone would show up and no one even called. It was only after I got involved and told them I would call the press and legalcouncill that they finally got someone on site the next day. Best part after a week of freezing and costs, they offered my parents $100 to pay for the electric heaters. Idon'tt call this service and they think no one will know. WellI'mm telling the world how bad their service is.
