Scott and his crew at GBS were awesome! We received 4 quotes and GBS was middle of the pack, but he was the only one who offered to come by and see the space, pointed out several things we hadn't thought of, gave us some helpful tips, and then scheduled the work very promptly. His communication was very quick & responsive. The crew did great work, finished product looks awesome, and finished very quickly. Cleaned up the worksite quite well too. Would definitely use GBS again!

This is the second time I've had Wes and his team take care of a tree removal on my property, and the first time was after some shopping around. They work quickly, communication was super fast the whole time, and their pricing is extremely competitive. Great value overall and I can't see myself using any other tree care company.

I had Three North come in and perform a move-out clean on the upper level of my home after a roommate moved out. The two ladies showed up right on time, were very efficient and got a very reasonable amount done in the allotted time. They also cleaned some carpets for me and did quite a nice job. Very good communication throughout the booking process as well.

I called Ideal based on the high ranking here on Homestars and I was not disappointed! Colin was very helpful from the outset, and the work was completed cleanly & quickly, and the cost came out exactly as quoted. I had recently purchased my first home, and during the home inspection the inspector noted that the insulation wasn't blown all the way into a couple of the attic's corners, creating some icicle formation at the corners of my roof. They came out and quoted me quickly for the basic fix, and also offered me a very reasonable "upgrade" option to get the whole attic up to R50, explaining the advantages as well. There was no pressure to pay the extra few hundred for that upgrade, although I did elect to go ahead with it based on their recommendation. Overall I would call them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them (have recommended them actually) to friends and family without hesitation. Thanks guys!

I was thoroughly impressed with the service, responsiveness, and value that Morley and his team offered. I had three different companies (all found through Homestars) come out and give me quotes around Christmas 2014, as I was gutting a bathroom in my house and discovered that the builders had cut some corners in terms of stack placement. Morley's quote was just slightly higher than the lowest of the three, but to be fair he included a few small extra fixes that were definitely useful. More importantly, he was extremely knowledgable and happy to answer so many little questions, as I've never had to hire a plumber previously. He gave me a few different options price-wise, thoroughly explained each, and was able to offer a quick turnaround on coming to do the work once I decided to go with his company. Maybe this is the norm with plumbing companies in Calgary, but I felt they went the extra mile in cleaning up every bit of debris after the work was done, and I'm certain it was cleaner in that gutted bathroom after they left than it was when they arrived. The work was done on time, with no surprise costs or overages. I would not hesitate to call Morley and Plumber MD for any future plumbing needs, and I've already recommended him to a handful of people who've asked about my renovation.

Our furnace's ignitor decided to quit on a very cold evening, and wasn't noticed until after 9PM, so we called several companies we had found on Homestars with "24 hour service" who didn't answer, left a few messages, and then decided to call Fagnan's and another larger company who had call centres. The repair guy from Fagnan's called us back first, and was able to get here within 30 minutes. He diagnosed the problem over the phone, had the part in hand when he walked in the door, and had it fixed in about 10 minutes. He also provided some very helpful advice on a few other furnace-related questions I had. Extremely friendly and helpful, very professional, and most importantly arrived quickly! I wasn't sure what to expect cost-wise as far as the after-hours service call, but overall I felt the total cost was reasonable, it was $150 for the service call, $60 for labor, and $200 for the part. I hope it's never needed in the future, but if I have furnace problems in the future I will definitely be calling Fagnan's first!! Thank you!
