Hi, We live in a 60 year old home, which we renovated from top to bottom. Near the end of the renovation, we had to tackle the heating and air conditioning. We wanted a new high-efficiency furnace, and due to the work upstairs, many of the ducts had been dead-ended, or re-routed. Carleton Refrigeration gave us a lump-sum quote for a complete replacement of the furnace and AC, as well as a solution to the ducting woes in the basement and elsewhere. They visited our house at least twice before the work was started, and were extremely efficient on the days of the work. They did an incredible job, and they ended up replacing all the ducts in the basement, as well as cleverly updating the routing of the warm air and the cold air return. Along with some foam insulation in the floor joists, they were also able to solve a long-standing cold basement problem. Finally, they returned for a final time to balance the heat between the three floor, installing baffles on all ducts and diffusers in the basement.
