When we moved into our current home we knew one of the skylights was in need of replacement. After 2 winters we came to realize the other two skylights over our family room were also in need of replacement as there was a not-so-refreshing arctic breeze if you were sitting under them. Moore Skylights was one of several companies I called to provide a quote and Jeff was able to come out a few days later to provide a quote. It was clear that Jeff knew what he was talking about when he came down from the roof to advise of the condition of the skylights, and the fact that he only does skylights helped assure us that he would fix some of the deficiencies noted with the old skylights installation. The new skylights were ready right when Jeff said they would be and scheduling an installation date was a breeze. On the day of installation Jeff and his team were right on time and able to complete the job by noon. I would say I would use Moore Skylights again so hopefully he is still doing them in 30 years when they are due for replacement!

Needed a gas line run for a fire table on our back deck, McCarthy came out and gave a me a quote within a week of me calling, and once we decided to go ahead the job was completed ahead of schedule. Will definitely be using them again for any future gas line needs!

Moved into a new home, built in the 1970s, during the home inspection I was told that the insulation was nearly non existant in many spots. Called around for quotes and Durham Insulation was by far the best value, over $1000 actually than one of the other companies I contacted. Crew arrived on time and were professional. Quick and easy, would definitely use them again. I have family who has also used them and the sentiment are the same.

Needed a new AC during probably the busiest time of the year. When I called around for quotes, Nigel was willing to give me a rough idea of costs over the phone, as well as the difference between the different brands/units. After Nigel came out, Button`s ended up being the best value for what I felt I was getting and hired them. On the day of install, the crew showed up right at 8am as promised, put mats down through the house to ensure they left no mess, and managed to run the new lines without putting any holes or cuts into the basement ceiling. I would definitely recommend calling these guys if you are in the market for a new AC unit.

I had called several companies to get quotes for inspections of a new home I had purchased. Even on the phone before I had hired anyone, Don went out of his way to explain to me things I should be asking of a Home Inspector in terms of what qualifications and previous experience they have. Once hired, Don arrived early, and was extremely thorough. Once completed he made himself available should I have any questions or should I need any referrals for home services going forward. I would recommend Don for any inspections you require, I even made sure I got extra business cards so I could let co workers know about him. 10+!

Initial meeting was great, free estimate was provided and Frank arrived early (as opposed to many appointments who were late or never showed up), and the estimate was provided in a timely manner. Once the work started is where the problems began. Frank called on Friday to advice work would start first thing Monday morning. The crew arrived around 11am on the Monday, didnt come to the door to say they were here. The work they did seemed to be of good quality, completing the excavation and laying the granular A and compacting it. I was adviced the job would be completed by the next day. The next day nobody showed up. Wednesday 2 guys came at around 3pm and worked for an hour or so. The next two days were rained out. Monday once again nobody showed up, I called and was assured that Tuesday there would be a crew there and the job would be finished. Nobody arrived Tuesday. At this point I still have a big mud pit in the backyard. The work thusfar seems to be good, but the communication they provide is awful. I have had 4 pallets of interlock and a excavator stitting on my front lawn for over a week with no end in sight.
