Craig , sorry to hear about this one stud, its something we could have fixed for you in minutes. The picture you sent me of this door did look out of square, but I did notice that drywall, and painting has been done(by others), this is not the approach we would have taken, we definitely would have framed in door jambs prior to drywall installation, sounds like you had another delay in choosing your doors, also your picture shows only 1 vertical jamb, in this scenario, we would have installed completed jamb set , so this picture would not be a true indication of problem. I think I do need to refresh your memory though, as it was you that gutted your place so you can save money, yes , there was a delay on starting, but I did give you 18 days notice , with the "excuse" of my dedication and commitment of finishing present project prior to starting yours. Also , I do believe I still have the email where I presented you the solution to our differences in which we should part ways on completion of framing, which you graciously responded with a "yes", this was also on the insistence of my lawyer who recommended the proper way to terminate the contract.
I was referred to you by your mother in law , in which I built her a beautiful basement and you hired me on the work that you saw there, I believe I have proven my professionalism there.
