Tony was the first to respond to my request for help with an LG dishwasher that would turn on for a few minutes and then shut off. We found out only after we bought it just how tricky and expensive this brand can be to repair - so we put this request out for offers. As it turned out the problems with the dishwasher were more extensive than that one issue -- which I mysteriously did not occur on the repair visit. Tony discovered a broken door seal and another, looping issue that indicated a problem with the unit's control board. He priced out the parts needed for the repair -- unfortunately higher in price than what we had paid for the unit then suggested good brands (based on his experience as a technician) for what was now a necessary replacement. He quoted what we discovered to be an excellent price for delivery and install of the new dishwasher once we got it. I very much appreciated Tony's friendly, professional manner and the clear way in which he explained how a dishwasher works and the diagnostic steps he was taking. Definitely, a technician/service provider that I would recommend to anyone needing appliance repair or HVAC services (in discussion with him I discovered that this is a component of his business, as well). We will be calling him back once our new dishwasher arrives at Lowes for delivery and install and also will look to engage him for an assessment of our central air unit and other further work.

Rimas was extremely professional and punctual. He explained the job fully and he is a whiz with a caulking gun. From what I could see his young assistant helped him remove the caulking around our exterior windows and then he did the actual caulking. The window exterior looked like new when they'd finished. I would use his services again and would recommend him to anyone who needs caulking done.

Our dishwasher had become abnormally loud. We'd done some online reading and poking around but couldn't solve the problem. Time for a pro - so, I called Owen's. He answered when I called and was able to see me the same day. A two-man team, the Owen's repairmen were courteous, quick and explained the issues to me. It turned out that the diswasher needed a new part (I believe a pump) and to have it's motor mounting tighted up (some of the noise we'd heard came from the defective part, some from the motor's vibrations). They got the necessary part the same day -- and quoted me what I consider to be a reasonable price that included the part, given the time and effort the repair took. I would use them again (they do electrical and plumbing as well as appliance work) and would recommend them to friends.

We had a chimney leaking water into our plaster and drywall in our living room. There was an unbearable mildew smell and mineral buildup on the affected walls. Jason doesn't mess about. He and his work mate showed up when he said they would and got the job done flawlessly in a day. As it turned out he had to remove and patch mouldy drywall and do replastering as well as oil priming. He turned up with a great venting system for the mould and fumes - which we really appreciated as we have a young family. They also did some spot patching on other walls. The surfaces afterwards were good as new, better actually. Now the trick will be to get Jason to come back for more work we need done.
