I have attached thermal images taken by a well know, well respected home inspection company of my Advantage Energy Star single hung windows. Here are his comments: Page 30 - 31 WINDOWS \ Sashes 34. Condition: Poor weatherstripping The thermal scan revealed that the windows' weatherstripping is allowing cold penetration at the left and right corners of the operating panels. Further, on some windows cold air infiltration at the corners is felt / noticeable when using the back-of-the-hand test. Notify the builder and / or warranty provider. Implication(s): Chance of damage to finishes and structure Location: Various Throughout Task: Repair or replace Time: Earliest opportunity When I suggested I may go public, I got the letter attached as an image. This may be a fine company, but I am unhappy with my windows and the response I have received from Pollard, especially the part about threatening to sue me.
