Very Bad service. They book appointment and never attend the appointment. Never call back. After continuous calling they inform no one will come. On November 8 in the morning I received a phone call from Reliance Technician and asked how far the properties were and I explained I need four furnaces. He said we are not doing ductwork. I explained that the engineering company will make the drawings and you will supply only furnaces and I am interested about your price. I also explained to him that I am building an 8 flex house and I need 8 furnaces for that. I need a price for that also. I explained very clearly that I will meet with you at the property at 4 PM with my property management lady and he confirmed accordingly. I drove 2.5 hours from Swan Hills to 13016, 13018 , 101 st. NW. Edmonton and meet my property management lady and waiting for Reliance Technician. I called his cell phone and went to the VM and left VM but no response. I text him but no response. I called Reliance 800 number and one lady picked up the phone and confirmed that I have two appointments at 4 & 5 PM and it's not cancelled, She requested me to wait and the sales manager will call me back. But no phone call from anyone. We waited up to 5 pm and called at Reliance 800 number and one gentleman picked the phone. He held me for 5 minutes then told me that they are not providing a furnace in the basement for this reason no one showed up. My question to you: Why does Reliance Tech. not clearly explain to me that we are not doing furnaces for the basement and cancel both the appointments. Then I do not have to travel 2.5 hours and take my property management specialist who is 76 years old and wait for Reliance Tech. for hours. What kind of customer service is this? I have an appointment and some should come on time. For any reasons if you want to cancel the appointment you should inform ahead of time. Reliance furnace service is very terrible in Alberta . I have four existing contracts with Reliance and this is the service you provide. They are supposed to do a yearly inspection of the furnace. We have to beg them to come to do the inspection. If they come for inspection they say I will do only the furnace not the air conditioner. You have to book separately for air condition inspection. They should not in business and wasting peoples valuable time.
