The move couldn't have possibly gone better. These guys are punctual, professional, friendly, hard-working, and quite cheerful. They moved both a piano and very awkward treadmill with ease and finesse. There were even a couple of acrobatic moments involving power cables behind the fridge. All-in-all, truly excellent.

After scheduling the pick-up and drop-off for the boxes, Andrew said he needed to push the drop-off date back a day due to a problem with one of his trucks. When he re-confirmed, he sent me conflicting information (the email and attached PDF did not have matching pick-up and drop-off locations). On the rescheduled drop-off date, he went to the pick-up location instead, and said that it was my fault for mixing up the two locations-- even though his confirmation email contained conflicting information. He then terminated our agreement, leaving me in the lurch to find alternative packing arrangements. Worse of all, he only gave me a partial refund because the mix-up was "my fault". Regardless of whose fault the confusion was, there is no justification for keeping my money after he decided to terminate our contract. This is theft.

KC is teriffic. The quality of the people who work for him is very high. Everything went very smoothly and was well organized. Great work for a fair price. Thanks!

After booking a move with Ken, he sub-contracted the job without my knowledge or consent. They damaged both my piano and floor. Ken initially told me that he would take full responsibility, but then abruptly changed his story and said that the damage was pre-existing (despite clear evidence to the contrary). He asked me to file a claim with his insurer, who (after thinking about it for 2 months) refused to pay because the damage was done by the other company and not him. When I followed up with Ken for payment after getting refused by his insurer, he accused me of extortion and harassment, then cut off communication. Additionally, he moved my treadmill on a separate day, yelled at me in front of my guests and neighbors because he was unable to complete the move, then left me stranded with my treadmill in my backyard. (To be fair, he didn't charge me for it.)

My wife and I locked ourselves out of our home. We called Mobile Locksmith and, on the phone, we were quoted $15 for the visit and $35 and up for the lock. When he arrived, he told us that he could not pick the lock because it was a 6-pin lock, and that he would have to destroy the lock. He said that this would cost $89. When I asked why it would cost so much, he said it was becaue his drill bit was very expensive. I asked what type of a job would have cost $35, and he said that would be an internal bathroom knob. (Because we had identified the original problem as a locked front door, I felt that it was disingenuous for them to provide a lower price for something they knew was not related.) Rubi destroyed the lock and then very aggressively tried to sell us a new lock. We declined and replaced it ourselves later. Later, I learned that the lock in question was 5 pins after all-- so not only did they over-charge for a job they didn't have to do, they actually destroyed our lock unnecessarily, I believe just so they could sell us one of their own.
