Richard V. owner of SELTEN DESIGN convinced us he would deliver a custom wood bench within 4-6 weeks and asked we pay in full up front because his business was small. After 16 weeks of broken promises, Richard apologized because he said his company ran into difficulties, and he would fully refund our money, as stated on his website at the time. He never refunded our money. He eventually would not return phone calls, and cut off all form of communication, so we called VISA, at that time VISA informed us they cancelled our credit card and VISA refunded our money.

This started in early Sep 2013. It's now November and our railings are still not completed! When our railings were not installed correctly, as identified by another well known railing company, I was told in a very RUDE and unprofessional email from Laird's to find someone else to retrofit the stringers. Also, the posts were not the same heights, and spindles were unevenly spaced out. Finally, Laird's came out and finished PART of the job. It is now NOVEMBER 2013 and the job is still not done!!! If you can't stand behind your product and FOLLOW UP, get out of the business. They won't return any of my calls.

Our wine cellar stone work is amazing. This family run business took the time to fit me in when our renovation went sideways. Our stone work is beautiful, and they went above and beyond the call of duty to show me stone options. Punctual, professional and very understanding. They also are priced well! Thank you.

Mower dropped off in working condition and still not returned 2 months later - it just needed a part. NO ONE returns phone calls. Not even a courtesy call letting me know the part isn't in 4 weeks later. Had to buy another mower for the season, as TWO months has gone by. Still don't have it back, and NObody will return calls. I will have to pay for the part, PLUS the cost of buying another mower. Terrible customer service.
