Tommy replaced 2 garage cables skilfully & the cost was very reasonable. During the cable replacement, he also re-tensioned the spring, making the garage door open much smoother. In addition, he saw that the door seal rubber was coming off and without any additional cost, he put a few screws on it to secure the rubber seal. He is also very honest and professional. Job very well done. Highly recommended!

It is perhaps too early for me to leave an accurate star rating for now as I have just been working with LawnSavers for a bit over a month. I am writing this review as an in-progress report of work done to date. But I can say Stephanie Eusler's customer service is second to none! She answers all my emails and took appropriate actions to make sure I receive the best work possible from LawnSavers. Via email, their friendly staff would handhold me how and when I should perform duty on my side like watering and overseeding. The company is honest from the start and did not pressure me to commit. They did not use tactics like "the early bird special would expire tomorrow!". They gave me ample time to think about it. For some extra work they agreed to do, they were happy to put it in writing for me. I have a really good feeling this is the company I can trust. My overall star rating 4 out of 5 (or 8 out of 10) is based on: Customer Service: 5 out of 5 (or 10 out of 10) Actual Work or Results: 3.5 out of 5 (or 7 out of 10) Note: not that the work is of low quality but because I can't give an assessment so early in the season. I will give more updates (probably in a followup review) as it unfolds. So far aeration was done well and weed killing seems to be working and hope it lasts! To be fair, I have to mention that my lawn started full of weed from the start and I have tried to save it myself for a couple of years in vain! So hopefully Lawnsavers will live up to her name :) July 8, 2013 updates: After the weed spray, Neil from Lawn Savers called me proactively to see how the lawn had progressed. While I was still waiting to see the results, Neil had already scheduled another spray for me as the weed in my lawn was bad to start with. Very good customer service indeed. So far after 2 sprays, Dandelion has reduced by 50% in the front lawn and by 70% in the backyard. (The higher the % number, the less the weed) Though I have noticed that the front lawn also has some problem with Burclover and the backyard problems with both Burclover and Oxalis. I have to be fair and say that my lawn is a very bad lawn to start with and this is the first year I am trying to save it. Revised rating: My overall star rating 4 out of 5 (or 8 out of 10) is based on: Customer Service: 5 out of 5 (or 10 out of 10) Actual Work 4.0 out of 5 (or 8 out of 10) Actual Results 3.7 out of 5 (or 7.4 out of 10) Although the results is 3.7/5 right now, I have to be fair to LawnSavers. Their customer service is the best I have known of and they seem very concerned about the success of my Lawn. At the same time I feel that they have tried their best to work on my lawn and gave me lots of hand holdings as what I should do on my side to further improve the results. Thanks LawnSavers! Easy things like mowing to 3 inches everything 5-7 days and watering frequently with deep watering once a week. Also I can do over-seeding myself to saving money. I still have 4 more service visits for the season to combat the weeds, so I am hopeful I will see much better results. July 18, 2013 updates: The Result is much clear now! We are excited! After the third weed spray, Dandelion in both the front and back yard has almost gone and even my wife has told me our lawn hasn't looked that good for years after the city banned the chemical. Burclover and Oxalis are still present in both lawns, however. Revised rating: My overall star rating 4.25 out of 5 (or 8.5 out of 10) is based on: Customer Service: 5 out of 5 (or 10 out of 10) Actual Work 4.25 out of 5 (or 8.5 out of 10) Actual Results 4 out of 5 (or 8 out of 10) Note the Homestars rating system doesn't have the granularity for me to give a 8.5 rating so I left it at 8, as I am a hard marker LOL! Sept 13, 2013 updates: Dandelion population has definitely been controlled though burclover, clover and oxalis remained intact and they need hand removal. I guess that is the nature of the organic weed spray. The lawn is thickening and we haven't seen this for at least 5-6 years now, thanks to Lawnsavers' tips on overseeding and watering. Now the lawn looks almost as new except for a small population of the fore-mentioned weeds. We r vy glad nevertheless. I must stress that Lawnsavers' commitments has been strong and consistent. A few weeks ago when they came for the weed spray and it wasn't effective because of rain or maybe other reasons. Just a quick call to them resolved the problem. They gladly came over and sprayed it again without charge. After that, the Dandelion did dry up and died. There is no question on Lawnsavers' customer service, care and honesty. I know they have done the best they can given the technology and government regulation limits. I highly recommend them as a company. Revised rating: My overall star rating 4.5 out of 5 (or 9 out of 10) is based on: Customer Service: 5 out of 5 (or 10 out of 10) Actual Work 4.5 out of 5 (or 9 out of 10) Actual Results 4 out of 5 (or 8 out of 10)

Company Response

Thank you sir for the update. Yes it i a little early since plants need to grow and turf needs time to thicken and crowd out weeds. The weed control process also takes time. What you see now will likely grow back, and new weeed scan grown as seed sblow in but that is part of the process. Most weeds take 2-4 application before they die, and we wont make promise that we cant keep. If we partner together, WE WILL WIN the war on weeds!
Right now, the best thing you can do is to make sure you mow and bag the clippings 2x a week, water deeply once per week until the weeds are under control and the lawn thickens. By next season we should be well on our way to a thick green and sustainable lawn. In the meanwhile, please let us know if anything changes, or seems problematic- we will be delighted to assist you and make it right- Guaranteed!
