Roy from Habitat came to look at our washer today. He called prior to arrival and was on time. He got to work right away and was very good at explaining and showing me what the problem was. Unfortunately the washer was not worth fixing but I found Roy very honest and professional and would definitely call Habitat again if I need any other appliance repair.

My 5 year old front load washer was not draining in the middle of a big load. What a mess! I looked up on YouTube to try fixing it myself but didn't work. I have used Homestars before and found this to be a great source. Wise Appliance Services came up with many good reviews so I decided to give this company a try and I am so glad I did! It was Sunday night at 7:30pm when I called and to my surprise, Hassan answered. I described the problem to him and he knew right away the model and what could be the problem. He was very understanding in working around my work schedule. He came the very next day, got the job done within the hour and left the place spotless. He was very professional, polite and he explained what he was doing. He was very careful in moving his equipment to not touch the walls. He didn't try to sell me parts I didn't need and his rate was very reasonable. I was very impressed by his service and professionalism and would highly recommend his service!

After reading all the positive comments on Celsky, we decided to ask for a quote to replace our ugly sundeck. Jim, the estimator came to take pictures and measurements. The quotes came back quickly as promised. It was reasonable, but I was still skeptical because the first company we hired a few years ago never did the job right and caused subsequent patch work that had to be done. The deck was ugly and I had no confident in any tradesmen to do our deck right. Then Ken showed up to see our deck, he listened to my concerns carefully, took more pictures and measurement. He told us exactly what he would do to get the most out of our deck. I was still a little worry, but we decided to give Ken a try and we are so glad we did. We had visitors throughout the entire summer. Ken did the work around our schedule and made the whole process painless. He also did a very nice job cleaning up. He showed up on time everyday, told us what he would get done that day and the next, checked in with us on any concerns along with way. He did the deck as if it was his own and told us what would be nice and how the staircase would be best done to maximize clearance for under the deck and walkway. We are very impressed with his work and how beautiful our deck look now. If you are ever in doubt like us, you don't need to with Ken and his company. You can trust them to do their best to make your deck beautiful. We are so pleased with their work that we will definitely have Ken and his crew do our next project. I read about Ecowest on HomeStars, and was little skeptical in the beginning, but decided to give them a call because of the good reviews. Joe Miletic from Ecowest returned our call the next day. He was prompted in responding to our questions and was a pleasure to deal with the entire time. The quote on our attic insulation was reasonable. Two crew members came. They were on time, pleasant, efficient and completed the job mess free. Joe followed up on the work and we were very happy with the entire experience. Six months later, we decided to change the windows at another place and called Joe. Again the quote was very reasonable. This time there were about 5 member crew on the job and they were having lunch when we went to check on the job. They gave us a time when to expect all the windows done and when I returned, the windows look great and the area was all cleaned up! Joe and his crew are very efficient and they are fantastic! The Ecowest staff are amazing bunch of people from the office to the site crew! We are very happy with them and would definitely refer them to anybody looking for a honest and professional company. We are already thinking of our next renovation and will definitely be calling Joe at Ecowest again!
