We did a 3-4 month renovation and we hired Alex as our general contractor but he did the kitchen flooring and the principal bathroom himself. As a general contractor, Alex interviewed the various trades and prepared a helpful Excel sheet detailing the pros and cons of each bidder and their pricing. Alex was always on our side - diligently seeking the best price and the highest quality of work for us. If some remedial work was necessary, Alex promptly followed up with those companies. At the beginning of the project, Alex also prepared a week-by-week progress chart so we could plan ahead and, remarkably, he was able to stick to the schedule.
