Cloud 9 installed my audio visual system three years ago. They were wonderful to work with and did an amazing job putting in speakers and a Sonos System throughout my townhome. I required them again recently to adjust and upgrade my system. Jeff, the owner came the first time just to diagnose some of my issues, and then Robby followed up with the upgrades that I required in order to get the best out of my system. This is a whiz bang company with heart. Not only do they truly know their stuff, but every person that I have dealt with from Cloud 9 has been an absolute pleasure to have in my home. They answer calls, come on time, are polite and do a fantastic jobI would heartily recommend them.

It took me a while to decide who I would choose to hire to put up my pricey wallpaper on three display walls in my home. I haven't had very many good experiences with anyone working in my house lately. Vlad and his partner dispelled all my fears with a job really well done (and I am a very fussy customer!). Vlad is a master at his trade and I only wish I could find people in other trades that are half as good!

I had a lot of anxiety about having these fixtures installed because one of them is over sixty pounds and the other two were very complicated to assemble and put up properly. As always, my go to is Homestars and again, the results were amazing. After watching a "master" like Joe B and his assistant get down to work, I realised that I had hired the right company. Not only was Joe's attention to detail equal to mine but his attitude was so cheery, and his willingness to make everything perfect made what could have been an unbearable day more than pleasant. They were remarkably neat and conscious of my home as well. After enduring unbelievable ineptitude and uncaring quality of workmanship in my newly constructed townhouse, it was more than a relief to deal with such professionals. I would never consider hiring anyone else in the future for any of my electrical needs.

We chose Andre Benoit and hired him for numerous repairs in our home on the reccommendation of a neighbour on our street. Unfortunately we realised too late that her standards and ours are vastly different. Andre NEVER ONCE showed up when he arranged to (except to get paid) and would take great offence if you complained. He never finished repairing our outdoor front stairs that he insisted need repair (and are now a danger to walk up), and our driveway is incomplete as well. Unfortunately, we paid him in advance and it will cost us another $2000 to get someone else to fix his unfinished disaster. When he repaired our bathroom shower, he forgot to seal the drain, which in turn created a leak in the library ceiling. It was weeks before I could get him back to fix this....and then he did so very begrudgingly. Most of the other repairs have not been completed properly, such as window frames installed outdoor but not painted. All the work that was supposed to take three months at most is still unfinshed after a year and a half, and I know that although he promises to come back, Pinocchio can not tell a truth and we have seen the last of him.

Three autumns ago I paid a fortune to have a new roof installed on my house, and when the first thaw arrived, the lighting fixture above my front door became the conduit for a stream of dirty water. The roofer came by and refused to fix it, citing “problems” not of his making….the spouts were wrong, the shape of the roof promoted leakage, the gutters incorrect...blah, blah, blah. In the interim, I have had numerous companies futilely attempt to correct this problem...to no avail. Homestar was introduced to me by a friend, and through their website, I contacted Juffs. I spoke to Steve on Wednesday, a gentleman came to evaluate the problem on Thursday, and was back early Friday morning to repair it. He was knowledgable, hardworking and friendly. On Sunday we had a downpour, and in the midst of it, our doorbell rang. A few moments later, with jaw agape, and eyes wide in amazement...my husband stumbled into the room sputtering...."You won't believe it...but the man who fixed the roof on Friday actually just came by to make sure there was no further leakage! Where on earth did you find this company??? We MUST recommend them to EVERYONE!!!!" ....and we are doing just that......
