The day I met the owner and hired Kawartha Window Cleaning she told me she and her supervisor were VERY FUSSY. I told her I was also fussy. Started cleaning our windows at our cottage Friday August 4th. Due to rain finished early to middle of following week. We came back on Friday August 11th and I emailed them to say they had missed 2 overhead areas with skylights -one about 4 feet by 10 feet and the other 3 feet by 30 feet. They were still full of dust cobwebs and dead bugs. Tiffany the owner came back and cleaned them herself including the skylight above them that had not been cleaned. She seemed very surprised that they had been missed. Came back a week or 2 later and had to move some furniture to get at a plug and I noticed that one of the screes had quite a few leaves in it. Took it to the shower to clean it off and decided to take out the screen beside it as the sunlight was shining on it and that too looked dirty. Had to take out all the screens on the second floor in the new addition of our cottage as they had all been missed. When I got in touch with Tiffany she told me she would have to bill me to come out again as I should have told them earlier. She had originally quoted us $4000.00 for the job but dropped it to $3000.00 when we told her our Toronto cleaners used to charge $2000.00 for the same job...windows, eaves, skylights, cobwebs etc. Tiffany told me she would have to charge for another visit to clean the screens as I should have told them right after they were finished not 2 and a half weeks or so later. She also said they could have got dirty in the length of time it took me to contact her. The owner of the company was there as the windows were being cleaned and so was the supervisor (Both supposedly very fussy) We only come up a couple of days a week to take care of the large lawn and other gardening issues for our many flower beds, not to go around window by window and screen by screen and skylight by skylight to see if they were clean. On cursory inspection , it all seemed fine and I initially had told her so. I was still talking to her when she hung up on me. I cleaned the 5 screens myself and told her I would be writing a review. .

They were Efficient, knowledgeable, hard working and easy to get along with and arrived on time

The four men from Avenue Road Masonry did an excellent job. Very professional, tidy and courteous. Our chimneys had popped a lot of bricks each winter over the last few years due to an incorrect chimney cap being used. They totally rebuilt the top 11 courses of bricks and replaced the popped and soft bricks over both of our extremely tall chimneys. Robert Grantham from Avenue Road Masonry, also arranged for the scaffolding company we used, that also did an outstanding job.

We first used Vacuflo when we renovated our house 10 years ago, their office was quite close, and we’ve been using them ever since. They’ve always been very knowledgable and prompt. Never had any issues. We also had a Hide a Hose Vacuum installed in our cottage which I love. It goes right into the wall so you can’t see it. To be honest I never compared prices but I think theirs are fine and it’s good service. I would highly recommend them. I would give them a 10 out of 10.

My husband and I would like to thank the people at Ontario Duct Cleaning for being so professional. They worked tirelessly for almost 5 hours cleaning all our output and input air vents. Tony and Aiden did a great job. Also went above and beyond in cleaning our dryer vents which were difficult to find. Worked very diligently and left the house spotless. Beside their great work ethics...they were easy to have in the house. Thank you again. Moira
