Been using this company for many years. Generally was pleased until this year when I tried their patio weed control service. The second recorded application didn’t actually happen as I was in the home the day the came. No attempt to make amends and come out again ASAP. When I called to to complain, again no attempt to appease me just a ‘ we’ll send your cancellation receipt now. I’m a professional and my conversation was civil and to the point . This poor customer is all on them. Stay away from Hometurf. I half expected a call back to apologize for their failure to keep me as a customer. No such luck. Ironic since I’d praised them in previous years online.

We did a complete Reno of all three levels of our home last winter with John Faller at Optibuild. He's super professional every step of the way. Clarity and documentation about the work, accurate pricing, well estimated timing, deadlines adhered to, excellent workmanship - all exceeded expectations. John's background with Mattamy gave me a confidence going into the Reno. Glad I trusted my gut. Now that we are sitting back and enjoying it, I can tell you just minimize any emotional upheaval over choosing the right contractor- choose him, stop fretting and start enjoying.

Over the 23 + years we've lived in West Mineola we've tried a number of pool service companies. Lakeshore Pools has been the one we return to each year now for a number of reasons. They are courteous, do a great job every time, offer in store discounts and customer appreciation events and have fabulous friendly staff. Their weekly or biweekly maintennace has really increased our pool enjoyment I must say. They're a nice company with a true customer focus.

As a senior you can imagine I've hired many a painter over my lifetime. Last summer we had Helidon paint every paintable exterior surface of our home. The hardest part was a massive three level deck that had been painted many times over the past 23 years in this house which was in poor condition. Most painters would have avoided the job given its enormity and challenge. The house painting was pristine and expertly done and the deck incredible. The sanding and spraying he did resulted in a gorgeous update for our treasured home. This is the second time using Helidon since meeting him and now I can safely say I'll never have to look for another painter again.

During the 25 yeers we've lived in our home on an acre property, we have tried a few lawn care companies. For the past few years with Hometurf we have had the best results. Our grass is consistently healthy and weed free. We especially appreciate the number of times they service our place and their willingness to addresss weeds if and whenever they appear, quickly and without any talk of it being extra trouble or at any additional cost. Glad we found this company and am extra happy it chose a non sexist name for itself. The world has enough Mr.s and -"man" in it!
