Found Marc via the Homestars site and had him do a small electrical job in the garage last year. Service was excellent. Called him again when we needed a bigger interior job done. He responds promptly to phone calls and email, gives an estimate, schedules a service date, confirms the date a couple of days ahead ... then arrives exactly when promised, does quick and excellent work, cleans up thoroughly, and settles for the agreed upon price. What's not to like!

A/C failed in early August. Quick and timely response from Peel Heating & Air Conditioning. Diagnosis suggested two new parts were required. These were efficiently replaced. Cost of parts seemed high but reasonable when one realizes their business model recovers service technician expertise and profit margin via part mark-up. Six weeks later, the A/C fails again. Diagnosis is that a new condenser fan motor is required. It's now obvious that the original diagnosis was incorrect and I paid dearly for parts that did not need replacement. Called to complain and fully expected a fight. Instead, Peel Heating & Air Conditioning heard me out and said "Okay, if we're wrong, we're wrong. We will refund the charges for those initial parts, or apply your payment towards the cost of the new condenser fan motor". Five hours after my call, the new motor was installed and the A/C is working fine. Great service! A very satisfied customer.

I purchased 2 entrance doors, 4 windows and a patio door (two separate orders, the patio door was $1328). The lifetime warranty states "no conditions or exclusions save those recorded below". The seal failed on the patio door in the 6th year. The Company will not honour the warranty and instead refers me to a "fine print" clause saying all products installed by The Company are warranted by the Manufacturer subject to their warranty. They tell me that the Manufacturer has a 5-year warranty on seals. This despite the unequivocal wording of their lifetime warranty. Currently, they still have this fraudulent warranty on their website. They now also have a separate patio door warranty that purportedly guarantees the seal for 10 years. Don't believe either of these claims. I discussed all of the above with Margaret and Ellie. I left a voice mail for the owner (no return call) and sent an email to the Company asking them to put their warranty refusal in writing (no response). Buyer beware .... they talk a good game but fail to deliver.
