Generally quite satisfied. They offered reasonable pricing and the installation work was well done. This is a professional operation and they they know what they are doing. My only quibble is with the design of the windows themselves. The glass is fine, but there is a LOT of plastic. The frame/casing is very thick (see photo) and the actual surface area of glass is less than my old windows, so a bit less light gets in. (That matters in an older home.) That's understandable on casement, but more glass and far less plastic would be better on fixed windows. Nothing wrong with the company or the installers, but the design of their windows could be improved.

We needed to rent a small bin for a landscape project, and I called them after seeing good Google reviews. Henry arrived the following day with a 5-yard bin, and was friendly and accommodating of our timing. Pricing was competitive. I will call them again next time I need a bin.

Mark arrived on time, was clear with his quotation, and completed the work on budget. We had issues with some pot light fixtures and he was able to isolate the problem and get us up and running. Would call again.

In the fall, Kris and his assistant removed an old gas stove, installed a new one, and serviced my boiler. Removing the old stove ended up being a big job, and they had to drain and move a radiator in the process, but they got the job done. Kris asked for $50 extra after the job was done, which I wouldn't usually go for, but given the time it took them (much more than they'd anticipated), I thought this was reasonable. It was a huge old 1950s stove and it took them 2 hours to maneuver it out of my house. He also took the time to explain how the new hook-ups were set up and to answer some general questions about my boiler. Both were nice guys, professional and pleasant to deal with. I'd definitely call him again.

Highly recommend this hardware store -- it looks small from the outside but is surprisingly large, and for a downtown store, it has a good selection of tools, reno supplies and hardware. They keep stock up and staff are friendly. I walked by this place for years without knowing it was actually a proper hardware store -- for downtown dwellers, this will save a lot of trips out to Rona or Home Depot.

Tony and his apprentice (I forget his name) did a good job, and tested everything thoroughly before leaving. They ensured things were done properly and took the time to get things right, including fixing a small problem I hadn't identified. The price was fair considering the care they put into the work. Only small issue was they were backed up and arrived many hours after scheduled ... but this can happen with any contractor, and to their credit, these folks called me in advance and were always available by phone. The good communication made up for it. I'd definitely call them again.

In Summer 2007, Yuri from Express Router quoted and managed a job to replace about 12' of drain from my foundation wall to the sewer main. After getting 3 quotes, they and another company (large chain) were within a few dollars of each other (and lowest). This job involved digging up the yard, replacing the cracked clay pipe with PVC, installing new cleanouts, and then refilling and surfacing the holes. The job was done on time, to spec, and they did a good job in filling and concreting over the holes. Yuri was accomodating in providing updates and information throughout the project. They even set aside some of the excavated bricks from the yard fill for us. It's been a year, and drains and concrete are in excellent shape. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I had three windows on the front of my townhouse replaced in the fall. They did a great job of measuring and installing the windows, and the windows were exactly as they had described. However, the flashing (trim) installed was the wrong colour -- not as I had specified, and did not match my existing windows (white instead of brown). However, after discussing the issue with Igor, he agreed to fix the problem. A couple of months later, Stan replaced the flashing around the window, so they now match. I was initially disappointed, but they worked to solve the problem, and this integrity is very important. I would recommend this company.
