I was really impressed with the customer service person that dealt in the computer section that was honest with me and told me upfront I didn't need a screen protector for the type of tablet I had as it had gorilla glass and said I would be better to get a different assessory that would help my daughter learn how write properly. I took his advice and got the pen instead and have told a few people about my experience. It was refreshing to feel like someone was listening and offered what was best for me not just try to get more money from me

I went to Rona first to get paint for my reno project but needed some extra help to determine what was best for me. There was a staff member there in the paint department but I found that she had her suggestion but didn't seem to be overly friendly or knowledgeable so I didn't feel really comfortable to make my decision right then. I left the store without making the purchase to go to another store where they may know more about the different products instead of just picking them up and reading what it says on the can to me.

I am not tech savvy and computers can make me very frustrated but are essential part of my business and life. I ended up with a virus that crashed my computer that my virus program didn't catch. A+ Tech was available to fix it right away and set it up way better for me so I wouldn't be in the same position again. I really appreciated not being oversold and having it fixed so fast.

I needed helping deciding what type of paint and primer would be best for doing repairs in our basement suite after a cat had made a mess of the drywall and smell had gone right into our concrete floor under the carpet. They were very helpful and we were able to deal with the cleaning and keeping the odour from coming through the paint/sealer. It was nice to be able to talk to someone who knew what they were talking about.

I had a clogged drain outside and was able to tell the plumber that I believed it was from the kitchen being hooked up to the wrong pipe. The contractor took out a small gardening tool and asked to use a bucket of mine. He scooped out a couple of dirt scoops and water and stood there for a long time saying it didn't make sense that the water kept filling up. Then he got a sub-pump and put that in. I managed the sub-pump so it would be in the right position. Then he said that he would need to take out a camera snake and then see where the clog is and then we would know where to dig up the driveway. It would be $475 for him to get the camera snake if I wanted him to continue and if I didn't want to go ahead with it then I would need to pay $200 for the work he did because he took tools off his truck. I talked to another company and they said that for their 2 hr call out fee of $280 they could fix the problem and it didn't matter if they used the camera snake tool or not. After talking to the other company I paid the Rotor Rooter guy the $200 to leave and he didn't even clean up the mess or put the metal grate over the pipe opening in the driveway. I called the other company and they fixed it for cheaper, were faster more confident in what they were doing. I called the office of Rotor Rooter to complain about having to pay $200 for nothing when they said they do a free diagnostic and they said it is free but as soon as they use any type of tool it is $200 charge

Unclogged outdoor drainage, redid piping under sink, bathroom, main hook ups, put two new vents under sinks, changed the filters & lights in water treatment system. I went with them after calling another company that did nothing and I had to basically pay them to leave because the other company was going to charge me thousands of dollars for the same work. The work was done fast, professionally and above all honestly. They saved me so much money and fixed the problems.
