We booked with Canadian Choice Windows & Doors to replace all the windows we have in our home. However initially I was hoping to get professional assessment of all of our windows as some are getting heavy condensation problem (serious enough to have water damaging our hardwood floor). We tried this other company, and their rep was able to explain to me the cause of problem and which windows needs replacing and which ones are in good shape. My feeling with sales rep Bonnie is that she tends to just tell me to replace all the windows. But that's her job as a sales rep so can't fault her for that. She communicates well and has good knowledge about their own products. And she was very patient with us when the mother tried to negotiate the price (well maybe until the last few minutes when we really tried hard :) She did follow up after the installation and seems to value their relationship with their customers.
The booking was done in winter, and due to the cold weather, our installation appointment kept getting pushed back to eventually spring time. However, on the day of installation was very windy. So basically our house is blown in with wood dusts in every corner and in every room, and it takes us forever to clean the house. Just a little surprised that of all the appointments got rescheduled due to unsuitable weather, they picked a day of strong wind gust to do the installation. Till this day I still see wood dusts in the room that I haven't been able to completely clean up. Well, lesson learned not to have your windows replaced on a windy day! :)
But after all the said and done, the windows are nice and the installer (Simon and his team) was good at what they do. And I will consider their service in my next window installation project, which can happen soon actually.
