He was flexible in meeting our needs and suggested new ideas with his expertise. The start date was right on time. The staff was courteous, efficient, and kept the area clean at the end of each day. The design is a complete package with all that is required, including steps, stones, sod, lighting and plants. The end result is spectacular and the envy of the neighbours! Steve is very knowledgeable about the installation, maintenance, testing, inspection and repair of heat pumps and gas furnaces. He even pointed out an error that the gas furnace installer (not Hargrave) had made that was likely to cause a breakdown of the gas valve.

Tim extremely capably replaced my AC with a recently developed 2 ton cold climate air source heat pump on my gas furnace for a government grant, which almost covered the cost. I have had the heat pump for over a year now. The heat pump alone has been able to keep the house at 24C even when the outside temperature dipped to about 0F. The heat pump ran at lower temperatures but the room temperature was slowly dropping and the gas furnace took over. See the attached figure for its coil maximum air temperature rises or drops as a function of outdoor temperature. The area in front of the heat pump became quite slippery during the winter. They also did a great job cleaning up the dirt they tracked in.
