I purchased my laptop from Best Buy and have been talked into buying full warranty coverage for 3 years with Geek Squad for extra ~150$. The screen on the laptop died in about a year and a half and I brought it to BustBuy - Geek Squad service desk expecting free warranty service. The young fellow, who presented himself as a service manager, started inspecting the problem by looking at the bottom panel of the laptop and even before plugging in and powering on the laptop to investigate the actual issue declared that some of the screws on the bottom were missing, the laptop has been tampered and all the services are chargeable since now. As I am the only user of the laptop, I definitely know that I never opened the laptop - what would be the point, when I paid for 3 year full coverage? The screws by the hinges loosened and got lost because of the pure design of the chassis of the laptop as they constant stress when the screen is being opened and closed. When after some quarrel with the manager, I refused to go with any paid repairs, they had an intention to charge me the diagnostic fee - that was overall rip off. As a result I did not pay any fees, lost the remaining 1.5 years of my "full coverage" and was lucky to grab my laptop and leave the store. Result: being 20+ years of computer professional, I purchased a new screen for the laptop ($70 including shipment), replaced it, picked the missing screws from my pile of surplus equipment at home, and fixed it myself. Everything works just fine, beside the fact that I have to check and re-tighten the screws by the hinges as they become loose from time to time... Conclusion: that was my last purchase from BestBuy - will never ever in my life be buying anything from them. Geek Squad is a dead company for me - I'll never deal with them in any context and will definitely recommend anybody I have a chance NOT TO DEAL with them.

I needed a really tall (close to 40ft) spruce tree shaped and trimmed in my front yard. I contacted the company with the free quote request and soon got their response informing that somebody will stop by within the next 5 business days. Things rolled on much faster and I had a rep come to my home the same evening the the quote next business day. The price was the most reasonable from all 6 similar businesses I have contacted. The work was scheduled in two weeks (for the sake of truth - they offered services next day after I accepted their offer as they had somebody else got rescheduled, but I could not accommodate that time slot). Three guys arrived as scheduled with very decent equipment - their truck could reach far beyond the top of my tree, fast and powerful branch chipper. The work was done well and the guys invited me outside to look how at the tree and promptly trimmed what I asked. All the branches were chipped and taken off site, the place left neat and clean. As they did not have payment by credit card option (I was informed about that beforehand), I paid for the services in cache and had the receipt e-mailed next day. From my experience I would definitely recommend Sullivan Tree Services for tree pruning.

The company offered very reasonable price for the service - the best price I could find checking around. No unneeded work (quite opposite what some other contractors insisted on). The contractors appeared in time and did the work as agreed . Quality of work was quite good. No upfront payment required. Would definitely recommend Kor for sod work.

The company appeared to be extremely overpriced and unfair. Instead of cleaning the flame sensor, they replaced GOOD fan and flame sensor, which was good and just needed cleaning (the original flame sensor is successfully working in a different furnace for the second year already). The parts have been under manufacturers warranty, and Clear View took the fan (around $400 store value) with them and refused to give it back to the owner of the furnace, or proceed with the warranty claim through the manufacturer. Dealing with the company on the phone and by e-mail for more than a year was hopeless. Be very careful using their services - I would never recommend them to anybody.
