GoldStar was the only company who came into our house to take the window frame measurements and recorded them all to 1/8 of an inch, as is required by our home owner's association; the bonus was that they also quoted us the lowest price! Although we had to postpone our installation date until after the birth of our first child, GoldStar made sure that the installation would be done in December 2012. Two men Ivan and Sergio arrived to do our install and they did a fantastic job throughout the day. They were prompt, pleasant, and courteous. It was a cold, windy day, and they made sure to close doors in the rooms they were working to minimize the cold air flow through the rest of the house. Despite the busy work schedule the men had that December, they stayed an hour later than anticipated to install the storm door so that they could complete the job in one day. Our existing windows were difficult to remove, but there was only minimal damage inside around the window sills and frames that we easily repaired with Spackle and paint after the fact. The new windows and storm door were installed properly and have not had any issues. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with GoldStar!
