I was impressed most with Uber out of the 3 contractors we had over to discuss redoing the roof. Chris was very good in showing us the products (we went with the 50 yr shingles) and he even talked to our insurance company regarding a discrepancy in measurement and got more money from them for us. They set out a contract and stuck to it, however afterwards, I saw our gutters were full of nails and there were little piles of nails on the ground. I stepped on one as well...this was after they cleaned up. When the tiles were delivered, some of our soffit was damaged which Rick said would be repaired asap, no problem. After repeated attempts at asking if it could be repaired, I would get the odd response saying they would come soon. Well, here we are a year later and it's not done. There was some other work that they were going to contract out to someone in order to fix a few things on the roof...never heard about this again. We didn't pay for this part, so that's fine, but it was in the contract but never mentioned again. I think the work they did was solid and I appreciate all the communication during the process, but once the final cheque was given, that was it. And that really sucks, so that's why I wouldn't really recommend them.

Boulevard was fantastic from start to finish. Vanessa arrived on time and had great suggestions - she is very knowledgeable and great to work with (I had several emails back and forth with her after), and her quote was given to me while she was still here. The price for the job was the same as the quote, plus an upgrade we decided on later. Her suggestion of a triple pane on our north window is paying off, as there is no condensation on the window now, as well as it looks beautiful with the fir trim she suggested! The quote also came in slightly lower than a competitor. Mike was great to work with as well - he was nice, respectful and knowledgeable as well. The installers did a fantastic job and left nothing to be cleaned up. Holly followed up and we have a tiny scratch on one of the windows that Jeld-Wen is happy to fix. We will definitely have them here again to replace more windows in the future.
