Our tiny front yard has been totally transformed thanks to Landscape Lads. We just bought this house and fenced in the small front yard. Our deck overlooks it. The yard had the worst lumpy uneven grass filled with plastic netting and our dogs were turning it into dirt. We knew mud would follow once the rain started this fall so we needed a fast solution. I called LL and Tyson came by to see the space and give us a quote. He knew we wanted the yard flat, with rock that wouldn’t hurt our smallest dog’s feet, and he did not try to talk us out of anything or upsell us. Instead he made some great suggestions regarding how to beautify the rock and add a few raised garden beds around our fruit trees. Tyson and Yva showed up on time, we’re very respectful of our space and things, worked quickly and carefully to remove the old sod and netting, grade the soil, place a base layer, then find and add the smallest round pebbles. They built two new planters, matching each planter’s size the the particular fence panel they fronted so the look was seamless and sophisticated. They then built-up and raised the existing planter to match perfectly. They then flattened and pounded the pebbles, cleaned the Rick dust from the delivery site on our driveway and blew any remaining dust away from the site. We are so very happy with the results. They look is clean and neat and more than that, it gives us the exact functionality we wanted. They even made sure our massive, heavy concrete pig got placed exactly where we wanted it. Excellent work. We highly recommend them.

This was my first time working with the crew at TKG Electric. They did a lighting upgrade and also installation of new fixtures at our new to us (18-year old) home we were renovating. TKG was the company our contractor used frequently and trusted—and we trusted our contractor so were hopeful from the start. Our hopes were exceeded. Kitan and the crew walked through our home with us at the very start making suggestions for lighting additions, changes, and improvements, including new types of dimmers and remotes. They gave us their best advice on where we should spend money, and where we could save money. They ensured they met the contractor’s schedule to avoid delays and were very proactive with all their work. During the job we ran into two challenges that seemed pretty significant at the time, but in looking back at how quickly they developed solutions and told us calmly how the solutions would give us an even better end result, we were thankful. One challenge was that the one-piece quartz granite had a hole cut out for a telephone hook-up which we did not want. TKG suggested we instead add an overhead lighting remote in the hole which suited us perfectly. The other challenge was a bit more significant. After the electricians wired for undermount lighting, through some of our own communication errors, the cupboard installers routered twice the number of holes we needed for lights. The electricians quickly told us they would simply double the lights and make it all work while still assuring me it would be safe and not break our budget. The result was even better than we could have imagined. We were thrilled with the care they took hanging our own purchased light fixtures, including one from an 18-foot ceiling and another multi-tear-dropped four-foot-long fixture over a dining room table. These guys even knew when to make cool lights warm in our dressing room, and warm lights cool in our laundry room. It was an excellent experience working with these folks, and we are so incredibly happy with the results. The fact that they were also polite, respectful, and friendly was simply an added benefit to their skill and their wonderful contribution to how lighting could enhance how we use our home.
