I am writing to describe how disappointed we are with the finishing of the rock laying and paving stones in our front yard by Titan Landscaping . Although we were so impressed with how hard Tyson and his crew worked during the terribly rainy weather during the two days they worked on our front yard, we realize now that continuing to excavate, lay down the landscape paper and put the rocks on when the area was flooded and a sea of mud was a very bad idea. We think that Titan Landscaping had not done this type of work before, or they would have realized this.

We did a walk around with Tyson a week after the work was completed and said we were very pleased with the work; unfortunately, approximately a month after the work was completed, we returned from a three-week vacation and discovered considerable weed growth in the rock area, especially at the edges, but also right in the middle. This is because in most of the excavated area the paper was flooded with mud and now has a layer of dirt which the weeds are sprouting in, as well as there being no paper laid down or paper badly torn or full of holes in some large areas. Also, the edges were not dug down to below the concrete driveway and curb and not properly anchored, which makes sense since it was flooded. Ive put in at least 6 hours so far, digging down and properly anchoring the paper, laying down more paper as necessary, and scraping off the layer of dirt on top of the paper. I had to purchase landscape paper and anchoring pins to do this. As well, we discovered that a lot of sod was stuffed under the hedge running along the side of our yard, instead of being removed as contracted.

I emailed Tyson at Titan Landscaping describing this situation and included pictures, and he responded immediately. He said he would come to the house and properly complete the work. I told him that we were leaving in two weeks on a family trip and would be away for a week, and Tyson assured me he would come before we left. He did not come and he did not call. A week after we had returned, Tyson texted to say he would come that day and do the work he had promised. This time he actually showed up, but all he did was remove a couple of shovelfuls of the discarded sod under the hedge, and sprayed a weed killer where he found weeds. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily that day, so the weed killer had little effect.

My husband and I tried negotiating with Tyson about the money and time I spent laying down more landscaping paper and pinning it properly, asking if we could deduct $690 from our final amount owing to cover our expenses and work, but Tyson replied that if we did that, he would charge us for the extra work he put in, including his gas and the weed killer, and totaling more than $1,000. Needless to say, we paid the entire amount due and chalked it up to choosing the wrong people for our job. We hope no one else makes this same mistake by hiring Titan Landscaping.

Titan Landscaping promptly contacted me and sent someone over to do an estimate. Within a week they were back to do the job and gave room for consultation and suggestions.
I am satisfied with the work and appreciated the professional yet personable approach.

On time courteous were easy to get a hold of and work was done effectively

The Titan team arrived on time and worked late all 3 days they were here. They left the job side clean and tidy at the end of each day, and completed the work as quoted. We are extremely happy with the work they provided and would highly recommend Titan Landscaping.

Very friendly, amazing customer service. Did a fantastic job on our artificial grass and Re sculpted our front hedge from other companies mistakes. Definitely having them come back every Spring and fall to help out with our hedge and trees.

Our hedges had been neglected or about 3 yrs. since my husband passed. Titan did such a good job in trimming them evenly, they even cleaned up all the cut pieces & trimmings and took them away, which saved me a ton of work in cleaning up! They even moved some items out of the way to do their work & put it back again! Very impressed with their work. Would recommend them for sure.

Retained Titan Landscaping as regular gardener was unable to reach tops of hedge. Only one person came to do the work and took four days to complete the task, whereas my regular gardener and assistant were able to trim front, back, sides of hedge in one day at a much lower cost. The Titan topping was uneven and worker had to be reminded several times to level off sections and remove left-over branches. Photos attached. There were late arrivals and a day cancelled by the worker, suggesting poor time management and scheduling skills. On the final day worker presented additional charges for bin rental, late fees, gas without providing documentation for the rental and late fees, or mileage and gas receipts, despite several assurances that the quoted price was fixed. This initial review was posted Feb. 20 and the owners called the same day to fix the uneven topping without further cost. We arranged an appt. for Feb. 22 at noon, as I had onlne classes until 10:30. They arrived at 10:15 which interrupted my class. While I appreciated their initiative in remedying the uneven work, I am unable to increase my satisfaction rating to full approval, as they knew my schedule and ignored it, and only did the remediation work after the initial negative review.
