When I moved into my new home I called Greg from Abbey Irrigation to open up the system for the season. Greg noticed that there were some problems with the system as it wasn't installed properly. He repaired the system (as well as he could) to get it up and running as it was a very hot summer. He ordered the parts he need to complete the job. He returned once the parts were available. As we were in the middle of re-doing the back patio he prepared the backyard for the work while ensuring that the rest of the backyard was still being watered. He came by (without being called) from time to time to check on the progress of the work in the backyard. He was in contact with the Patio contractor and came and completed the sprinkler system once the work was done. It was a very hot summer and we were able to keep the grass healthly through it all. Greg and his team were always very polite, repectful and hardworking.

After my move here to Oakville, I found myself with a lot of extra furniture that I could not use in our new home. I had furniture that was in good condition and I had no one that I could give it to. Kathleen came to my home and chose pieces that she was certain would sell very quickly and that were in demand. We arranged for a drop off date and everything was taken and beautifully displayed in "the warehouse". Several of the items were sold within days. I receive regular e-mails which allows me to see the new arrivals as they come in. Although I dont have any room for any additional furniture, I was able to pick up a couple of Swarovski collectibles to add to my collection. It is evident that they love what they do. Our experience with Duro-Shed was excellent. We met with Ursula and Laurie regarding the addition of a shed in our backyard. They are very knowledgeable and went over all aspects on the project. We discussed by-laws, materials, maintenance etc. As we opted for a concrete foundation the head office staff was helpful in providing a reference for the concrete work. The concrete work was done as scheduled and the shed was installed on the pre-determined day and was done very quickly. The gentlemen cleaned up and left the backyard in the same manner as it was when they arrived. Everything went as planned, including good weather.

I would not recommend Service4Applicances to anyone. I am writing this review to help people understand that this company does not in any way stand behind their work. I have a problem with my GE Monogram fridge which for some reason has a problem maintaining a level temperature. I called in August to have this problem repaired. The technician came out and determined that I need a new fan. I ordered the fan and paid approx. $560.00. After the fridge was repaired I called back to tell them that the fridge was not working. I was under the assumption that I had a 30 guarantee. The technician came out again and told me that some other problem was causing the temperature fluctuation. I thought that he wouldn't charge anything, but he told me that it was a different problem and the minimum amount he could charge me was $180 + tax. I didn't agree, but paid him as I didn't want to cause a problem. He assured me that the fridge would now work properly. The next day I called back and told them that the problem was not resolved and that I was not going to keep paying the to "guess" what the problem was. The customer service people told me that the head technician would call and offer a solution. Needless to say after several calls and promises that I would receive a call, I never received any response. I wrote them a letter asking for my money back and they wrote back to tell me that they did not do anything wrong (no offer to come and look at my fridge) . As I had told them that I would take them to small claims court - they reminded me that they would sue me for court costs. It is now November and my fridge is still not working properly. To add insult to injury my icemaker stopped working after the first appointment. I now have a fridge that is in worse condition than it was before I called them and I am out $762.00! There are serveral other reviewers that have had the same experience when the original appointment does not solve the problem. Please go on the Better Business Bureau website for more information.
