I was told by David that this job would be done before fathers day. It's now August the 3rd, and it is still not complete. Not only that, after 85% of the payment was made, he is no longer responding to texts or phone calls. The photo says it all. If he actually responds back and completes the job, I will retract this review but I am not hopeful. Next steps will be BBB and small claims court. That is if he even provided a real business address. Update: Still no response. Was told aggregate was supposed to be coming on Aug 2nd. No answer after calling on his Cell. ONLY after I called from another number did he answer and after realizing that it was me on this number he pretended he couldn't hear me, then proceeded to put me on immediate block on his cell phone. He is completely disingenuous if he states that it was to be completed on August 7th. Intermediary work was supposed to be done. Once he got most of his money he took off. Additionally, I did not even mention the numerous excuses he had before the job even started. First, he "accidentally" booked me instead of another job ahead of the Father's day completion date that he originally gave me. Then when that date arrived, he stated that the weather would not permit him to start so he would have to delay it another week. Then he got "covid", then the road saw he ordered was a day late. It was the "other company's" fault. Then the when the saw came, it didn't work. He blames everybody else except himself. Now he is trying to blame Homestars.

The job was supposed to be completed this Saturday Aug 7 as he was told the day I completed taken out old concrete. Don't know why he is leaving this review. Yes I had to reschedule the job due to 21 of my employees and myself caught the Covid verient and we don't want to spread the virus to our customers. That put the job on hold. I never take deposits when I start a job so if delayed and he didn't like it he could of called someone else then us. But he didn't. Yes there was a problem with one of the Road saws we had, it was not working properly which he was there and saw the saw did not come operational. And like I said we determined the date for completion on the 7th of August but when I see he has damaged my company with a review that was baseless at the time, I decided not to complete the last portion of the job. I'd be happy to except this 0 review because it was baseless and we practice great protocols with my customers. As past reviews we are a 10/10 on every job, so this to us is completely baseless STAY AWAY FROM HOMESTARS THEY ARE A SCAM... THEY KEEP ON DELETING MY RESPONSES.
