We had some dying trees outside the house that were in desperate need of removal, and some trees that were dripping allergen-filled yellow things all over my car and making everyone sneeze. Bark Busters came quickly and did a great job of clearing up the problem. The yard looks great now, and we don't have such a problem with allergies anymore. Definitely recommend.

I love this place. Building 19 has assorted home goods that would be triple the price anywhere else. And it's still good quality stuff (some name brands!). It's very hit-or-miss though, the selection changes all the time. Great for small pieces of furniture or accessories for the home. You may have to do some rummaging, but it's totally worth it!

These guys are great. I had a little rodent problem in my former house. The house was older and had lots of little nooks and crannies for the pesky critters to hide. A-1 was so thorough in finding every hiding spot and they even left me little notes describing, in detail, what they did to rid me of the pest problem. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area. Reasonably priced too!

We came into Crate and Barrel just to browse, but ended up with a whole new kitchen set! The salespeople were really helpful, helping us coordinate our pieces and tailor it to our vision of our kitchen. Lots of funky stuff at Crate and Barrel, quality made products that have withstood quite the beating so far!

The movers started out showing up late (due to the fact that they ignored my precise directions). I was asked to sign some preliminary paperwork, when I noticed that their "start time" was an hour before the current time. When I asked about this, they said that it includes the movers' travel time. I assure you, the only way it would take an hour to get from Allston to Newton is to walk...backwards! I reluctantly signed, but put in a call to Michael's office to contest this. I wasn't moving far (or very much furniture), so I figured I'd hit my 2 hour minimum and that would be the end. After an hour and a half of actual work (I watched these guys like a hawk). I'm asked to sign again. Once again, the end time is 45 minutes in the future. For more "travel time". I could care less where they go after they leave my house. I put my foot down and refused to pay for more than two hours. I chased their corporate office for a long time to get a refund for the overcharge. They were incredible rude to me and lost their cool over the phone. Unacceptable. I finally got a check in the mail a month or so later, after applying a lot of pressure.

I'm not all that impressed with Jordan's Furniture. For a place that large, it just seems to me to be more "fluff" than actual sales floor and items. Is there really a need for a "carnival" every hour? Regardless, the salespeople are friendly, even if their prices aren't always comperable to other similar furniture stores. I love my couch, but I think I could have got a better deal elsewhere.

When I moved out of college and into my first apartment, I needed some real furniture of my own. Ikea's prices fit my budget, and if you can get past the terribly frustrating directions for putting furniture together, it holds up really well. Good deal! I'm writing this review from a really nice Ikea desk--complete with wipe board, bookshelf and slide out keyboard holder. All for about 70 bucks too. This place is an amusement park for home improvement lovers!

We knew we wanted new, energy-efficient windows. The people at Home Depot were so helpful in helping us plan and stay within our budget. They took the time to really understand our needs for the house and the windows look great and help us save money!
