Lucio Campolongo and his team from CPL did an excellent job of installing new railings on my front porch. I’m impressed because they showed up as scheduled, did a quality installation while at the same time were protective not to damage my front lawn and planted flowers. The job was completed for the exact quoted price with no attempt to solicit additional add on costs. This is a company I would do business with again.

I searched the Internet and the Better Business Bureau for reports on contractors that received good reviews for the work they performed. Griffin Decks came up positive. I then made an appointment with Mike Griffin to create the specs for the dream deck that I had envisioned. As a retired Senior Operation Manager from the financial services industry, I learned to trust my instincts when dealing with outside suppliers. For Mike, all my instincts said that I am am dealing with a straight forward and honest contractor who will do all that he claims. I was not disappointed and would recommend Mike and his team to anyone.

I believe the best reference I can give anyone, is to answer the question would I use them again? The answer for Charlie (Mr. Rescue) is YES for sure. Charlie did an open concept stairway renovation project for me that was done to perfection. While in my home Charlie took great care to cover and protect affected areas such as carpets etc. Additionally, a full clean up was done at the end of every day by removing any debris and hauling it away in his truck. This action showed a lot of respect for me and my home. On-going home improvement and maintenance is something I try to keep up with so I expect to see Charlie again for those jobs that I don’t wish to tackle on my own.

Bathroom Reno Avonlea recently completed a full bathroom renovation for me. I live in a 50 year old home whose bathroom, prior to renovation, had tiles that were inches thick and held on by solid cement backing. It was a huge job getting these tiles off the wall and then getting rid of the mess afterwards. John and his team are experienced working on older homes in Toronto so they created a plan to renovate my bathroom in a fixed number of days. I am happy to report that my bathroom was completed, on time, on-budget and with a level of quality & craftsmanship that I would say is very hard to find in today’s home renovation market place. Having modernized my bathroom has given me the urge to update my kitchen with an open concept look. If I decide to move forward with that renovation, it is certain that Avonlea will be the first company I look to for creating a new kitchen plan.
